As I manage to do during any break from work or school, I found a new YouTube channel to get addicted to!

Jon Solo.

He does videos on the multiple origins of specific fairy tales, fables, and urban legends. The last two videos of his I just watched was him describing the differences between “Coraline” the moviie and “Coraline” the book, and I’m convinced now that we need a live-action version of it (following the book more closely) written and directed by Guillermo del Torro.

I am OBSESSED with fairytales, folk tales, and spooky urban legends so this channel is absolutely perfect for me.

It would great if you could make a moodboard for my Star Wars OC, Jon Solo.

Background: The biological son of Han Solo from a previous relationship. (His birth mother died right after he was born.) And he loves his father dearly. Currently 13-years-old. (I’ve just recently finished writing the second book of the series, which as a whole, is called The Jon Solo Chronicles. Book 2 was based on The Empire Strikes Back. In Book 3, which will be based on Return of the Jedi, Jon will be 14. In Book One, which was based on A New Hope, he was just 10.) He has a very strong and close mother-son type bond with Leia Organa. Jon and Luke Skywalker are like brothers.

Appearance: Light brown, almost blondish hair. Hazel eyes. (Which he inherited from his father.) Crooked smile.

Personality: Smart, curious, friendly, loyal, helpful sweet-natured and kindhearted. Loves ships and flying. Is a good pilot in his own right. Has a sassy, snaky, sarcastic and joking side. Can sometimes be as hotheaded and strong-willed as Han. But he is also sensitive and thoughtful. Tends to get worried easily if anyone he cares about is hurt, upset or in danger. Very observant. He’s something of a dreamer, too. At this point in the series, after ESB, and leading into ROTJ, Jon feels confused and hurt as a result of watching Han get tortured of the scan-grid, and later loosing him to the Carbon-Freeze. He blames himself for that happening, and has a lot of anger, pain, hurt and trauma in the aftermath. But he’s also determined to be reunited with his father again, and set things right.
