Hello! I stumbled upon this blog and am just kind of wondering… why worship the fears? I don’t mean this in a judgemental way at all; I just don’t understand and would like to understand

Sorry for the late-ish response, this question was left for me (Jon) to answer and I don't front as much as I used to

But there are a couple answers to that question

It's a way for me to connect to my source (as a fictive), not much else to it

But for the longer more thoughtful answer, I worship the Beholding as an archetype; one of learning, studying, and knowledge, and I know many others do. In all honestly I don't really believe in the Eye in the same way a Christian would believe in God. My worship is more in pursuit of certain goals that I would see fit for the Eye. It all comes down to a type of chaos magic really.

Also a shortish answer, for some people (like in our system) there's just a pull to worship. It could be for similar reasons above or it could just be because it feels right

tldr; there's no wrong answer on why to worship something, especially in chaos magic, if it works it works

Do the people running The Magnus Archives wiki just not realize that almost literally no one wants the actually interesting comments gone? What even are the "acceptable" comments? Pointing out something to be added or fixed results in "You could have just added that yourself," which is very true, but if those comments are also bad, I'm genuinely so confused about what they could possibly want to be posted besides just nothing. Every time someone asks where all the comments went, they get a reply saying spam/memes isn't allowed (I'm not sure what their definition of meme or spam is, but it doesn't seem to be the typical definition. Everything funny isn't a meme.), they'll be deleting any "silly" comments as soon as they see them, and that they do this for free.

Is there any real reason that they have to be doing this, or are they just making extra work for themselves by doing something no one wants? If anyone knows, I'd really like to understand it.

A year ago I had my last match with the fed. It's crazy, since it seems like a lifetime ago but also like just yesterday. I can't even explain how wild this ride has been, but I can say I made the best decision for me that I could have.
