"Ya' know I'd invest in some pants if ya' insist on jus' standin' around buck ass naked in a cornfield. Specially this time of year. Not that I don't admire tha' presentation... but I hear hayfever is a bitch," snide comments aside she bounced wanting her hugs as perusal.
"Who woke you up... not use ta' visitation til late August?"
"Hey Harls so I take it I wasn't on the best bender of my life last night? Does this count as a midlife crisis?" He teased with a chuckle. Scratching at his stomach he sighed and just looked around. Yep, they were in a cornfield and he'd lost his clothes somewhere along the way again. When she started to bounce he moved over and pulled her into a big bear hug.
"Got unusually stimulated and got a bit out of hand as you can see. I think it's the weather. That or my sense of time is just as fucked up as everything else on me."
Looking around the clown saw what she could only assume was his truck. There were tracks in the field that made it seem he didn't exactly drive through the rows. It was a wonder someone hadn't put up chicken wire let alone barbed fencing.
" Nahhhhhh a mid life crisis would be you actually takin' an interest to online forums and scaring people recklessly in hopes for attention. This screams haha you losers thought I was dead."
She giggled and bounced expecting a hug for old times sake. It wasn't until John began to squeeze that Harley remembered he wasn't wearing anything. Still her eyes never ventured down, but she had to respect he had good legs.
" Ha.. stimulated ain't exactly the best word I'd use while yer' doing this," she laughed never imagining this even being a thing on her bingo card for the year. "Oddly I guess this does make sense it's half way ta' Halloween. Me 'en you are due fa' a meeting on what yer' cookin' up. Maybe this was a clarity thing. "
He looked around as well and saw his truck wasn't too far away. So he'd at least been able to mostly drive even though he didn't remember much of it. So much for tracking his steps back to figure out what he'd been up to. When Harley reassured him this wasn't a midlife crisis he smiled and looked relieved.
"Yeah I gotta remind them time ta time that I'm not dead. Can't have them forgetting and losing all my discounts." Smirking a bit he motioned for Harley to follow him over to the truck. "Don't worry I keep a spare pair of pants in my truck for situations like this." Getting to his truck he fished around under one of the seats and pulled out a pair of jeans that he quickly shrugged on.
"Ah yes our meet ups. How could I forget about those? You still running your own crew this year or did that kinda fall through again?"
"Oh that's awesome I'm so proud of you gettin out there and building up your own book empire one store at a time." He grinned and chuckled a bit.
"Oh I was down south for awhile. Opened up one of them food trucks and sold burritos till I got bored of it. Totally wasn't trying to avoid border patrol or anything."
"Yes, soon I will be taking over the world," she laughs. "Well then you wouldn't mind making me one sometime." She takes another drag, "Now, get over here."
She pulls him in a shotguns the smoke into his mouth.
"Oh you're learning." He chuckled and grinned at her. "It starts with one and then another and before too long you'll be putting on a costume and joining us." Teasing her a bit he moved to inhale her smoke and groaned.
"So you want some burritos? I can make a mean bean and cheese one with peppers."
"After all this smoking I'm starvin', ya wanna order some Wendy's off of Doordash?" @question-marked
"Well now you're speaking my language. Let's totally run up a bill and then scare the fuck outta the driver when he shows up. I'll do my part and you riddle him until he cries."
"Sounds fantastic! Now what should we order? I'm really hungry, so I'm probably gonna order 2 baconators, some fries...also chicken nuggets because I love their chicken nuggets, also some drinks and also some of those frostys."
"One vanilla, and one chocolate. Those taste really good...I dunno if they still have that other flavor, I think it's strawberry? Maybe some of the chili too, does that taste good?"
"Oh that sounds good. Toss me one of those bacon cheeseburgers and some of that chili, oh and some fries and two cups of that Dr pepper." He groaned thinking about what they could get their hands on. "Do they still have those ghost pepper nuggets because if they do I could use about four packs of em."
