How does this happen?

Well I can imagine that Johnny and Mario are fighting by each other’s side and ends up fusing in a desperate moment. And thus they become Captain Sealegs.

I’m really proud of this: both design and artwork.

also if you’re curious as to why the arrow is upwards not downwards it’s to show basically what is in Sealegs body (Johnny and Mario spirits)

Not me, drawing underappreciated ships I don't think people think about enough.

Why Mario and Johnny? A kind, helpful plumber grants this man's wish by giving him the fight of his life and Johnny gives this man his loyalty. In post game Johnny states he feels like he's had the joy sucked out of him since their fight. Johnny dueling Mario gives him spark and passion and he's truly honored to fight him in a rematch. Mario lights a fire inside of him, a blue fire, the hottest kind. There's so much context and subtext that I feel people miss out on with these two that's surprisingly deep for the small amount of time they have together and I feel it gets overshadowed by the main cast because screen time isn't too kind to dear old Johnny. I've been really thinking about it lately and wanted to make some art on a ship I love. Let Mario have a a weird shark man boyfriend. As much as I ship them, it's criminal that I don't draw them more. I need to start doing that tbh.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is only in a couple days and I wish everyone a merry Christmas, if you don't celebrate it I still wish you a merry day :)

But that's not all, today (December 23rd) is my birthday! On top of that it's nearly been a year since I started posting on tumblr, time does fly by fast, doesn't it?

I just want to say, Thank you: Everyone I've interacted with has been so pleasant and friendly, being on tumblr has helped me with my confidence in my art skills more then I thought.
