uhg i'll never justify joffreys behavior but i cant see how it justifies being murdered?? he was 13yo. what happened to him is WRONG. period. like i'll ALWAYS be upset abt robbs and cats death. and oberyns and elias and p much every death in the history of asoiaf. joffreys death is just as terrible. it's surreal how ppl can be all pressed abt robb being brutally murdered and then when the same thing happens to joffrey suddenly murder is the best way of dealing w things god bless. im amazed.
Joffrey's abusive behavior is totally inexcusable.
But the ripple effect of his death is super painful to me. Watching Cersei in pain and watching Tyrion be framed for murder is painful to me. And after the most recent Arya chapter, I'm more worried than ever about Sansa being in Littlefinger's hands (never forget what he did to Jeyne Poole), so Sansa escaping the Lannisters always feels like an "out of the frying pan, into the fire" situation to me. And then Oberyn dies in Tyrion's "trial" and now my sweet bb Tommen is like a sitting duck on that horrible chair and none of that makes me happy.
Watching Cat screaming over Robb dying and watching Cersei screaming over Joffrey dying are both meant to be painful imo. Some people enjoy a few moments of satisfaction from Joffrey's death, cool, whatever, but ... I really think it's a hollow victory, considering the aftermath.
