I found a post about Jotaro's illustration on twitter and was curious to compare him to Jonas placing him in the middle of both parents. and I think I feel so happy. It is like a complete happiness to see how much Jonas looks like both of them. he drew features from both of them. I mean. Jonas is famous on instagram due people thinking he was Jouta.

It was a funny story, Jotakak shippers came praising Jonas as Jouta, but after I explained he is my lovechild with Francesca I was like: "but well I love Jouta too, let's go!" and that was a lovely yet bizarre friendship on there...

I will try to write as understandable as possible because it is not something that easy to understand so no worries if you didn't understand at first, I love adding drama for the sake of Jojo's! haaha Also never feel bad about your Dislexia and I really hoping for your new glasses, that indeed are so expensive T-T!

Disclaimer: I will try to be as brief and understandable as possible with the relationships that I will narrate below, it will have a lot of Spoilers from the sub-title of Jojo's bizarre adventure: Plastic Beach so I will separate it in two big titles: Jojo's bizarre adventure Canon & Jojo's bizarre adventure: Plastic Beach.

Jojo's bizarre adventure Canon

Jotaro and Francesca's relationship is described in a slow burn relationship born of two people who share the same principles and ideals (Soulmates) but seek consequences in life to get away from their feelings for fear of how the other might react.

In Stardust Crusaders (1988) they are described as rivals with one heart. They do not like to show that they have genuine concern for the other so they hide it behind a mask of disinterest but unconsciously they always look for ways to take care of the other. on January 16, 1989 and with the final demonstration of Jotaro holding Francesca by the clock so that she does not fall into the void, it demonstrates a break in their rivalry to show the unconditional love they have for each other.

In (1989) and return to the daily life of both, living together in Japan since Francesca does not return home (by the grace of Joseph Joestar after hiding her mafia family from her) their relationship begins to shape more to the point to share more and begin to understand each other to the point of connecting many similar tastes and ideals, that is; They begin to fall in love but with the fear that it will not be reciprocal because neither has the attitude to say it out loud.

At this point is where there is an emotional break for both, Jotaro being older than her by two years and leaving the institute where he studies to follow his desire to be a Marine Biologist, decides to apply to the university in the United States. Francesca accepts and admires that he follows his decisions and ideals but at the same time with a broken heart since she had accepted that she really loved him. Jotaro is the first to genuinely fall in love but his fear of not being reciprocated leads him to escape to the United States. In those moments Jotaro meets Rebecca Parton (Mother of Jolyne and his wife from 1992 to 2009) and Francesca has a relationship with Daisuke Yanai (from 1990 to 1992) as I said before everything is united and these names will be repeated later in their lives, Rebecca has always known that Jotaro hides and imprisons the love he has for Francesca and vice versa. She is older than both of them and beyond the "jealousy" which she initially felt when meeting Francesca, she could not feel more than an innocent connection with her, to the point of loving her a lot and always being in contact. Which Francesca for her part was afraid of, being friends with the wife of someone that just broke your heart is dangerous. On Daisuke Yanai's side, he always hated jotaro and was his rival at school and the fact that he was able to start a relationship with Francesca to show her off in front of Jotaro was worthy of generating more hatred between them.

In 1992 everything got the final breakdown, Jotaro gets married, Jolyne is born and with that the problems with the enemy stand users. Jotaro begins to write letters to Francesca admitting that in those moments he regrets leaving and hiding his feelings towards her. Francesca on the other hand, never receives said letters since Daisuke hid them from her and returned them to Jotaro. 'Cesca has been studying medicine at the University of Tokyo for a few years and began to write secret letters with Rebecca because of the unconditional love that grew in her when she met Jolyne after giving birth. those letters made her make the decision to want to be independent, to want to know life for herself and from one day to the next without mentioning anyone she left tokyo changing her papers from university to prefecture M, city S... Morioh.

Kei Kanokami (belongs to @papel-origami) is a man who works at Morioh as the Department Head of the Speedwagon Foundation. Kei is the one who rescued Josuke from that storm as well as his unconditional love for Mia, his adopted daughter, and Rebecca's ex-fiancé when they were both younger (you can ask my friend for more info about him!) When Francesca arrives in Morioh, she uses her remaining savings to buy an abandoned house for little value. Looking for a sporadic job, her neighbors offer her a job with Kei as an assistant in her office at her house. Francesca doesn't remember him at all but he was one of those who started the process of a metal arm for her at 15 years old. now both adults meeting again.

They both have mixed feelings, a genuine love and quite innocent but at the same time wishful. Francesca in those days never stopped sending letters to Jolyne and Rebecca, she never forgot Jolyne's birthday and on Rebecca's part it made Jolyne happy to receive letters from a "guardian angel" that she believed was her father. Francesca becomes attached in the same way to Mia, Kei's daughter, who, without having a mother figure because Kei is a single father, relies unconditionally on the love that Francesca gave her, thinking and mistaking that she was her real mother.

Some years pass; Kei decides to leave Morioh leaving Mia in charge of a maid and firing Francesca which makes her lose faith in men and in love in general. This leads her to look for a new job to keep fixing her abandoned house, she gets a job thanks to a university classmate in medicine and is a doctor's assistant in the Morioh emergency area where she meets Josuke and Tomoko! she and she becomes friends with Tomoko until the end of her days.

In 1999, Francesca started as a surgeon at Morioh with her respective office in the same place where she was previously just an assistant. Mia always visits Francesca by introducing herself in her house, she knows that she is not her real mother but she keeps calling her "Mom" affectionately for the mere pleasure of humiliating her and getting a couple of innocent laughs.

Francesca has already suffered 3 breakups: Jotaro, Daisuke and Kei. three men she wants to forget because she is already an independent and stable woman. but in 1999 the three appear again wanting to correct their past mistakes. Francesca tends to run away taking refuge in Morioh's teenagers. It is not until the end of DiU where Jotaro shows genuine interest in Francesca and vice versa, which leads them to work together and she leaves Morioh until 2001.

From 1999 to 2001 Jotaro and Francesca hid a relationship, it was not a formal relationship since they were co-workers but inside the hotel rooms they were more than that. Francesca listened and helped Jotaro many times with the family issue and a more adolescent Jolyne, who kept receiving letters from Francesca complaining about her father. Rebecca announcing that she would possibly ask for a divorce from him since she requires someone who loves her the same way she wants and Jotaro listening to that regretfully. Those three years two of them shared more than a room, they shared insecurities and fears, like real soulmates do.

In 2001 there is another breakup, Francesca discovers her pregnancy. and knowing the problems that Jotaro has regarding his family and the unconditional love that forces him to make the decisions he has made and has caused him enormous depression. Francesca decides to escape, announcing that she would return to Morioh. here there is a big dilemma: Francesca wanting to be a mother and have a family but knowing that it is not possible with Jotaro's problems. she decides to make the decision to run away to Japan again without saying anything to anyone (like in 1992) after they both got together with Koichi to investigate Giorno.

Francesca turns to Kei as part of the Speedwagon Foundation workers and finds him on the verge of a depression worse than Jotaro's. Her daughter has been kidnapped by her real family in Mexico. Francesca forgets her wishes to end her pregnancy to help Kei find Mia. and from that concern until Mia's final rescue they both realize that they revived that unconditional love they had in 1992, Kei discovers Francesca's pregnancy to which she admits that once Mia is rescued she will end that pregnancy but it is Kei who he offers to be the father of that child, even start a family together. Quite an unconventional family but when should a family be linked by blood? both get married at the end of 2001 before giving birth to Jonas. Jotaro, hearing the news, is completely destroyed since he lost what he wanted forever (just like what Francesca felt when he married Rebecca and had Jolyne) nobody knows or suspects that Jonas is not Kei's, it's a secret that he keeps until death Francesca, Kei and Joseph (who is who offers the name Jonas revealing that he felt the Joestar blood in that child, that is, he knows the truth)

After this, a new life begins for Francesca, with a husband who loves her without hiding it and a family that she adores and adore her. Kei has trouble having children and it has been quite a journey for Kei and Francesca to finally have a third child (their first and third at the same time) until Jotaro turns to them for a problem with Jolyne, which Francesca decides to take control of by making him the favor to his best friend and Mia, who took control of Kei's job since he retired.

Francesca finds out inside the prison looking for Jolyne that she is finally pregnant after 10 years of trying. but you already know that she happens in stone ocean. here are key points since Jolyne discovers many things from Francesca hidden by Jotaro as well as discovering that she was her guardian angel that her mother always talked about. a hug between the two forgiving many things, a hug that transcends the affection that Francesca has for her, her mother and Jotaro and Jolyne receiving that hug from her "aunt" who never forgot anything about her in a love unconditional.

On the other hand and here the Spoilers begin!

The end of Stone Ocean, Jotaro and Francesca die. where Francesca dies a couple of minutes before Jotaro announcing the truth about Jonas, with the phrase "I could never escape from your eyes... since Jonas have the same ones" Jotaro both die looking for Francesca's hand for both of them to die holding hands hand just like in 1989 when he didn't let go of it when it fell from the clock and where he lost her left arm. (that's when sometimes I apply the Post-stone ocean AU)

Jojo's bizarre adventure Plastic Beach

We all know that the universes reset with Pucci and Emporio trying to escape falls into Irene's universe. In that universe Jotaro has merged with Kei (been Johei) and Francesca has merged with Rebecca (been 'Cesca) both have been married since 1992 where they had Irene, in 1994 Camillo and finally in 2000 Jonas. in between adopting Mia for a while until finding her family. and finally in 2011 they adopt Emporio thanks to Irene bringing him home.

Can you explain more about why Jotaro is Jonas's Father yet 'Cesca married someone else and he never fulfilled the role of father as such?

✨ Okay! What if I tell you that was all 'Cesca fault? ✨ /please don't kill me haha, remember this whole story is full attached to Jojo's bizarre adventure's canon so some things might me really hard to accept (and for me too) but is for the character development! I swear! ;w;

At the end of Diamond is Unbreakable, Francesca agreed to leave Morioh with Jotaro, Joseph, and little Shizuka. The real reason behind leaving the town was to help Jotaro with the resolution and investigation of the arrows for the Speedwagon foundation. Jotaro's life is sadly not rosy, spending the whole day together and then going to sleep in different rooms. Francesca asked him about his family more than once. Jotaro mentioned that his relationship with Rebecca (Jolyne's mother) had ended a long time ago but it was something that hurt him to this date. The conversations after work in a restaurant or near-by bar where they were staying made him tell her about his life beyond. Not being able to be there for Jolyne when she needed him most and only for fear of drawing people who want to kill him to what he protects and loves the most.

Francesca noticed many times how he stayed on the phone for hours without saying anything, listening to a couple of screams from an emotionally shattered Rebecca. waiting for hours for Jolyne to pick up the phone to talk to her father, but that moment never came. Jotaro was emotionally wrecked and a couple of times Francesca offered her selfless help...as one of his closest friends to date.

they traveled together to many places and not only for work in the interval from 1999 to 2001. To Italy due to Francesca's uncontrollable desire to see her home again where Jotaro was her emotional pillar, and otherwise when they traveled to see Jolyne from the shadows; how she got along with friends, having lunch at school, how she did her chores around the house and helped Rebecca make dinner. Francesca was a very important pillar for Jotaro in those moments when he just wanted to go home. She knew that he and Rebecca were nothing, but the unconditional love still existed. little by little the concern and affection that Jotaro and 'Cesca needed slowly turned into something romantic, the need to be reciprocated and loved.

both decided to keep that secret since it was not ethical for work, much less for everyone else close to them. but here was a break for Francesca. her dream was always to have a family, to return to feel the family warmth that she once had until she was 14 years old and then she never felt again. the desire to belong to a place and feel loved and desired. but at that time Jotaro had other concerns on his mind, his daughter was his number one concern and everything was for her. It is not until 2001 that Francesca discovers that she is pregnant and it was sweet and bitter news at the same time. She did want to be a mother but the conditions in which she found herself with Jotaro were unstable made her decide to kinda abort and flee from that place before Jotaro discovered everything.

Francesca came to Morioh when they were looking for Koichi for the mission to Italy in search for Haruno. but Francesca decided to stay in Morioh for a while announcing to Jotaro that she wanted to take some time to go home, all a lie to escape the torment of being pregnant. It wasn't until she found Kei Kanokami in a self-destructive situation because his daughter Mia had been kidnapped. Francesca decided to help him forgetting the fact that she was pregnant, it was a genuine concern for the girl and her father who had always been a hardworking man but now he was broken. Kei was the one who discovered Francesca's pregnancy and she announced to him that she didn't want it, that although... she loved that moment and always dreamed of it... she wasn't ready to bring a child into the world like that ( antepartum depression)

Kei is the one who offers her that there is no need to mistreat each other and destroy dreams when both can give that child a life. From that moment Francesca's chapter with her fear of not belonging to any place was filled with a familiar aura. Jonas was born into a family, the kanokami family and was born as Son of Kei; who always saw him as his son from the first moment. Francesca no longer escaped her fears, since she now had a man who really loved her and let her know it.

but hey, she's no saint and to blame for Jotaro not knowing about Jonas. she tried to be independent so as not to "bother" a man who was emotionally destroyed at the time with the news, he indeed was not in the mood to be a father but 'Cesca tried to get away with murder too. but maybe the story would have been different if Jotaro had known the truth. but that little secret of the Kanokami family is only confessed at the end of Stone Ocean under the words of Francesca in her last moments:

"Years ago I tried to escape my destiny, I tried to hide everything that always led me to you Jojo, I tried to be strong and I was able to escape everything with a great mastermind but the only thing I could never escape from was my son's eyes, the same reflection that your eyes show, the eyes of his father"
