Storm the front: The thrill of playing paintball battles
There is no other thing on earth that excites me than playing paintball with my friends. It is exciting, nerve-wracking, and challenging. Thus, when I have time, I always make it a point to attend battle invitations from my fellow hobbyists. I can’t simply pass up the opportunity for the game because it’s built for the type of person I am.

My first experience of paintball battles was years ago. I was hesitant at first to try it, but due to the insistence of some of my buddies, I had no choice but to join them. I can still remember my first walk in the battle arena – the feeling of excitement, of not knowing what lies ahead. I almost felt I was fighting in a real war. I had doubts, but I had no choice but conquer them and focus on the opponents. I thought to myself “If it is a real-life situation, what would I do?” This made the game more exciting.

Then there was my first hit on an opponent. It gave me a feeling of fulfillment. Nothing could be more satisfying in a game or battle than scoring. I overcame my doubts and fears about being in such a competitive arena. Suddenly, my movements came to me naturally the way they do to my favorite action star in a war flick. “I was doing it perfectly,” I thought. Since then, I became a fan of the sport and made it one of my favorite hobbies. To think fast and avoid being hit and to conquer your fears and defeat your opponents – these capture the thrill of playing paintball.
