One look and it's easy to see how cinematographer JONATHAN FREEMAN picked up an Emmy nomination for his work on DEFENDING JACOB. Collaborating with director Morten Tyldum, the cinematography is a key storytelling tool thanks to anamorphic lenses, a defining placement and framing with the camera, use of close-ups and focusing on the "windows of the soul", and sticking to a pre-designed plan.
