MrsFizzle and her readers are still going. 🙄

This exchange happened last month. I'm putting it out there because I refuse to allow Kaylie Night/MrsFizzle to continue her harassment behind the scenes.

Everything will be made public from now on.

What happened?

When I recognized a name connected to two major fandom dramas show up in the BMW server I reached out. Not only for myself but because there are other people in my server affected by the first issue mentioned. I extended the benefit of the doubt to them but immediately got hit with lies in the same way I did with the other readers who camped out in the server and relayed information to Kaylie Night/MrsFizzle.

Innocence. Confusion. Denial. Anger. And an unwillingness to really talk to me or even try to understand my position.

I covered up the name because they aren't important and I've dealt with them by blocking them everywhere and banning them from the server. But I do want my followers to understand what I've been dealing with and am still dealing with.

As you can see, this escalated quickly into name calling which is pretty much Kaylie's hallmark. She has always tried to get me to flip out and be nasty, but I won't do it. Was I short with this person? Oh yeah, once they doubled down on the lies, I stopped being sweet.

And guess what? I was wrong about one thing- this reader did not comment on AiP nor did they leave kudos. Not once. The reason I thought they commented on the main AiP story was because of this response to me on reddit: (see blackedout name)

I don't delete comments unless they're spam and I keep every comment email including the ones for the comments left by Kaylie/MrsFizzle so I can prove which deleted comments are hers should the need arise. There were never any comments from this person on the AiP main story, but rather on some of the short stories including the Darkest Night. And while both commentor and author can delete comments, no one can delete kudos.

I did not save any comments from Kaylie's readers that were not pertinent to the report. The comments that were included in the report were ones she specifically set up to counter any potential plagiarism claims (she knew in November 2023 that she was being reported and was using info from the server to do this) or just out right lied about (like Ashley being a canon character in BMW). So why this person assumed I had every comment ever made on Reunification, I have no idea. Unless, of course, that's what Kaylie thinks I have.

Kaylie really has no clue what is in the report and I'm sure that's why these dms often get wild. She's throwing at a target in dark with a blindfold on hoping to hit something.

Honestly, at this point, releasing the report to everyone won't do anything but give context to the exposé (search Tumblr for mrsfizzle) and how bad it really was since she deleted everything already. However, it clearly eats at her and because she's continued this crap, I am not inclined to ever let her see it.

Kaylie,

You started this. You lied, you stole, you harassed, and your arrogance got you exposed. No one was mean to you like you are to fictional characters. Yeah, even your changed discord name is just pouting because you got caught.

But keep it up and I'll keep posting your nonsense. You've already got the plagiarism tag following you on Reddit. Doing this crap only keeps it going.

You could end this.

BW&VK: Rave On For Real

A quick cover for Jon being at Audrey's lead to uncomfortable questions from Mr. Feeny. Shawn is delighted to see things heat up between his teachers. And an argument with Dana may see Shawn single before his party. Cory, Topanga, and Shawn find evidence that the rave they keep hearing about is real.

"I thought about the Poe House," he told them. "Both Jon and Audrey love his works."

"My mom has already made reservations," Dana said as though Shawn had not spoken.

"But it closes at 6 pm."

"She picked this really romantic spot for them."

Topanga glanced uncertainly between her friends, uncomfortable with the growing tension. "Jedidiah has a friend who oversees the Poe House."

This got Shawn's attention. "You think that friend might be able to get them in after hours?"

Dana placed her clasped hands on the table. "The reservations are 8."

Topanga looked at Shawn and nodded empathically.

"Good," he said firmly, still not acknowledging anything Dana had said. "Audrey said we're doin' the cake cuttin' at 8. I'd want them outta here by 9."

"They're going to La Familia."

Shawn couldn't take it anymore. He spun around to face his girlfriend, face flushed and breathing heavily. "What is your problem?"

"What's your problem?" she snapped back just as irritably. "You're being incredibly rude."

"I'm being rude. You're the one insisting plans have already been made."

"They have been!"

"Does Jon know? Is he okay with this?"

Dana clenched her teeth as she tried to regain control over her emotions. Tears pricked her eyes. She didn't understand Shawn's attitude. He was her boyfriend. He should be supportive.

"It's a surprise," she ground out.

"He'll be surprised all right," Shawn snapped angrily. "Does your mom know anything about him? He hates surprises like that!"

"Well, that's convenient for you," she barked back.

"Why are you doin' this? Why are you tryin' to ruin my birthday?"

"Guys," Topanga stood up and leaned over the table, trying to get between them. Cory awkwardly joined her unsure of what to do.

By now Dana and Shawn were kneeling in the booth, facing each other and shouting.

"I'm not! Why are you trying to stop my mom from being happy?"

"Why does it have to be him?"

"Why not?"

"He's not your dad!"

"He's not yours either! Stop pretending he is!"

Slapping him in the face would have been kinder than what she said. Shawn stared at her with his mouth agape. Shock and deep hurt clouded his eyes. Slowly he backed away and rushed to the back of the building, disappearing into the billiards room.

I would say this is pretty spot on. However, the numbers are low, and I realized a few stories are not tagged fully. lol

That's an easy one!

Why did you develop Jon's backstory the way you did?

I will avoid spoilers because his full story hasn't been revealed yet.

I always had the question when watching the show "why was Jon the best adult for Shawn?"

If you think about it, it doesn't make sense. Out of all the adults we see on the show, Jon has the least amount of experience with kids and no support to take on a troubled teen and his needs.

It was implied on the show that despite his wealthy upbringing, Jon had a personal understanding of the road Shawn was heading down. Then based on what Eli told Shawn about Jon and his family, there is a long-term estrangement between him and his parents. At the very least, Jon would understand to an extent the feeling of parental abandonment Shawn struggles with.

But still what was it that made Jon the right one for Shawn?

My answer: because he lived a parallel life to Shawn when he was a teen and got into much worse trouble that Shawn ever did. Had Jon not had an adult in his life who saw his struggle and intervened, his life would have been gone down a very dark path.

The last thing he wants is for Shawn to go through that. Not when he can intervene and stop that downward slide before it happens by following the example his mentor set.

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

Maybe? lol Honestly, before I joined Reddit, I never paid much attention to trope names other than reading TVTropes for fun every so often. I struggle to name ones I do like. I'm totally blanking on one's I don't but have grown on me. Sorry about that!

Saudade: Interlude-Suspicions

While Shawn and his family try to relax in Philadelphia; in New York, Eli realizes there's something off in his relationship with Katherine. Yancy terminates Eddie from his scheme with direct threats to his health if he causes a problem, leaving one very angry and resourceful "brother" of Shawn to do what he sees fit where Jon is concerned.

Darting between the cars to cross the street, Eddie disappeared into a dark alley and reappeared three blocks down on Boynton Avenue. A few more crisscrossing of streets brought him to a motel with no name in the middle of a block of condemned buildings.

The motel was still. The "owner" was in a back room passed out from either alcohol or drugs. He headed to his room at the end of the dark hall where one lone light on the wall flickered on and off, sporadically illuminating the thick cobwebs encasing it.

His room was as dim as the rest of the building and just as filthy and depressing. It was sparsely furnished with a card table and a folding chair. The metal bed frame was rusted from the leaking of liquid from the floor above and the stained mattress with only a bottom sheet had seen too many horrors to recount. One exposed light bulb hanging over the card table provided the only light in the room.

Eddie traveled light. He had no clothes but what he wore and no baggage but the knife in his pocket.

And a locked box under the floorboards.

And a picture.

The bulb's light was only slightly more stable than the one in the hall, but it swung on its four exposed wires due to the draft in the room from poor insulation. On each swing, it lit up the photo that was pinned to the decaying wall.

Eddie had as much information on the family of the teen in the photo as Yancy did, but the assistant principal didn't know this. He had given strict rules not to open the stolen files after all.

Eddie had ignored him.

In the locked box beneath the floorboards was all the information on Yancy and Turner he had. Now that he was a freelance agent, he could sell this information to the highest bidder.

The highest bidder… A wicked grin lit his face.

Yancy, he knew, had access to significant amounts of money as his own lavish lifestyle was funded through embezzlement, bribery, and blackmail.

But Turner…

His baby brother's family lived in one of the richest neighborhoods in the City and he knew his "father's" family had pockets so deep Yancy would spontaneously combust when he found out the extent of that wealth. At some point, Eddie knew Yancy would seek out the elder Turners and discover this on his own.

Standing several feet away from the photograph with his back to it, Eddie took the switchblade out of his pocket and began to play with it.

How much money does Daddy have, baby brother? he wondered as he ran his thumb over the blade of his knife. Slowly he turned to stare at the picture of "his brother".

"I think it's time I met the old man," he whispered to Shawn's picture. With the reflexes of a cat, Eddie embedded the knife into Shawn's left cheek.

Wonderful Christmas Time

"Is it too late to make a Darth Vader ornament?" Shawn asked, stepping back to scrutinize the tree.

"Yes!" Jon and Audrey answered simultaneously.

Jon looked at her and they laughed together. He felt the weight lift more. With each ornament hung a lightness filled him until he forgot about his previous feelings of insufficiency and displeasure in himself.

From that point on, he willfully dropped his attitude and disappointments of Christmases past to fully join in with Christmas present. When he did, he saw that the house was nothing like the cold, store bought, professionally set up Christmas displays he grew up with. Their decorations were mismatched and imperfect, too much of some and not enough of others. But everything was done by them and for them.

If Jon was being completely honest with himself, this was the Christmas that he wanted when he was nine- the Christmas he never got. It was family doing the holiday activities together; the people he loved with him actively engaged with each other.

It was not being alone.

For the first time in an exceptionally long time, he wasn't going to be alone for Christmas. He'd never admitted to anyone that being alone at Christmas bothered him or that it drove him to make some extremely poor decisions during the holidays.

When Shawn finally showed them the ornament, he had picked out in Glen Mills, Jon then realized how much things had changed for both. The ornament was a clear heart, framed in white poinsettias that were tied together at the top with a white bow. Hanging from the bow were two hearts. Etched in the glass were the words:

Our First Christmas Together

1994

Both he and Audrey knew the ornament was actually meant for a newlywed couple, but neither said a word about that as Audrey hung the ornament in the heart of the tree- exactly center, a place of honor amongst the others. Jon rearranged the lights so that they illuminated the heart and made it glow. Shawn stood between them, his arms around them both, looking so happy.

This was not the same kid he took in seven months ago.

That kid would not be standing here with them doing what other kids his age wouldn't want to do for the most part. But then seven months ago Jon himself wouldn't have been leading family festivities in any form. Seven months ago, he would have been horrified by the thought of such a thing. But now standing there in the living room with Shawn and Audrey he finally had to admit that this- a family- was what he really wanted, and he hoped that every Christmas going forward would be like this one.
