“DoorDash: No-Contact Delivery”
I am employed by Doordash deliveries. I try to be the best and be the safest dasher for DoorDash. Customer needs their food delivered in a healthy and safe manner, to their doors, without the fear it has been infected from Covid-19 threat! So, DoorDash, update their service making easier for customers to get prepared food from restaurants, groceries from the supermarkets with a no-contact delivery service, where dasher can leave order at their door. Last week, I took photos of 5 bags of food on my passenger side seat. This week, I choose the 5 best photos of food bags from various restaurant’s or fast food restaurants at their door. Each delivery was done with a no contact-delivery.
1. On April 2, 2020, I picked up a food delivery from the Linda’s Walmart. I delivered it a few blocks away at the customer’s front door. It had 42 items in 8 bags and a 12 pack Diet Dr. Pepper. This order had a no contact order and I was paid $14.
2. On April 2, about 2:30 in the afternoon, at the hotspot near the mall, I got an order from Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. The order was to be delivered to a apartment in Yuba City. This order had a no contact order and I was paid $7.50.
3. On Friday March 27, 7 in the evening, I got a order from Taco bell and delivered it in Yuba City near the Lincrest Middle School. This had a no contact delivery and I was paid $8.75.
4. On March 27, right after the Taco Bell delivery, I got a order from Taste of India Restaurant. I delivered the food near the Happy Park. What is interesting about this photo is the dog at the door near the window. It was watching me deliver the food. I never notice the dog until the picture was developed. This had a no contact delivery and I was paid $8.50.
5. Saturday, April 4 around 7pm, I got order a order Costa Vida. I like the optical illusion that the porch light created on the wall, dark shadow around the corner wall with the flower wealth hang on the door. This also had a no contact delivery and I was paid $7.
DoorDash can help keep everyone safe and away from Coronavirus (corvid-19). I am happy to go out to keep others safe. I always were a mask and gloves when delivering to those I serve.
