ON A TESTÉ : INNERVISIONS by LEAVE US LOST

Depuis quelques mois, une partie de notre crew a décidé de partir à la découverte de l’outre-Atlantique, de l’autre côté du globe, plus précisément à l’ouest canadien. Après quelques expériences enrichissantes, nous avons amerri à Vancouver, plus connue pour les JO de 2010 que pour son univers techno. Bien heureusement, nous avons sympathisé avec les bons gars de Leave Us Lost, l’un des organisateurs les plus influents de la ville, pour nous offrir une prestation d’un haut standing. On vous raconte, english please.

Few times after Chris Liebing coming, we felt this city was increasing its techno skills, over and over, for the best fanatics pleasure. Indeed, the west canadian is better known for its landscapes, mixing mountain & ocean to offer you a magnificent magic nature, and we love that. But, on our days, the weather begin to let place to techno world, which titillate Vancouver and its surroundings. Each year for 5 years, Leave Us Lost organize a fabulous deep house event named YVR. All summer, sunny vibes, nice place and good people. We told you these guys rocks ! 

Back to the basics, Leave Us Lost invited us to their prestigious party Leave Us Lost presents Jon Charnis. A memorable night in a fantastic place with good people. Le Disquaire team relate it. 

The moon is shining, 10.25pm on the watch, we are chill in the no man’s land. We walk in a wasteland area of Vancouver, far away from the downtown activity, what it keeps a real destruction for the next. And that’s what happened. 

Just arrived on place, Open Studios looks mystic from the outside. We can’t wait to see what was happening on it. Time to go inside. Firstly, we get a friendly approach with the guards, who appears more like techno lovers than happiness remover, what we really appreciated. Now, a ‘Z’ stair is erected in front of us. We know it, this is the moment, the debacle is going to start after the first step walked. We begin to heard the sound, the sound of moving. We keep going forward, step by step, with an irresistible feeling to get up and feel the vibes. Action! Here we are, we check the tickets and thank the organisation to create this kind of magic event, and we go on the dancefloor. The venue appears magic. Little and friendly, volcano lights, and an excitation smell. By going everywhere in the venue, we felt that the sound was really well calibrated, one of the best of the city, our ears agreed. 

Derrick Vnuk is playing and directly let us the power to feel the bass. We recognized his style and good melody, that’s sure cause we already saw him in YVR parties and on 1st Chris Liebing part. This dude knows the rules, he was transported us to and other planet, close to the Innervisions planet. It was perfect to fit with the next. His bass were absorbing, mixed with a bewitching melody, matched with a happy mood. You understood it, our feet were dancing alone. And that’s was only the beginning.

People began to come, party mood was fantastic, the show started ! And it was without . Jon Charnis was here, preparing his equipment, ready to release all of his energy. And that’s what he did. Bass were up, psychic rhythmic, high-pitched mixed with mind-blowing melody and low bass. A really good Innervisions touch, inspired from Recondite and Konstantin Sibold with his own touch. Genius. What happened next is really hard to define with words, that’s a genuine universe, in which you are transported until the infinity. Each drop shoot out in an other dimension, and they Leave Us Lost. Each melody is pushing you forward, away from reality, and you are in a real dream coming true. People feels it, everybody dance with a smile until the ears, and the mood can’t be better like that. That was magic, one of our best parties since we are here, and not the last ! 

We really want to that you these genius friends from Leave Us Lost to let us lost each time we come feel their parties. They really know how its works, make it best, with always a good mood and a pleasure to offer. We really want them to increase their work, it really worth it, and close to Europe level. Special thanks to Open Studios which is surely the best venue of Vancouver, and Jon Charnis, Derrick Vnuk, and all people presents this night. Peace & bass.
