"in a way, i hope not." jiro takes a deep breath, peering around the edge of the wall to take another look at the whoopee cushion they had placed neatly on one of the restaurant chairs. "i mean--! what if someone sits on it and gets a big, big shock?"

i don't know! {' coughs. } the location doesn't matter as long as it's with him-- i-- okay. hmm... date night in a pillow fort! does that count as a new location? i'm not sure, but-- yeah, that one.

❝ what time is it?
jiro had been going on with non-stop chatter all the way to disneyland. despite having lived in france as a child, which is when most people are supposed to visit, he hadn't managed to go even once for a little peek around. so, being the avid disney fan he has quickly become, going even as an adult is somewhat thrilling. exciting, at least. enough so that he doesn't even mind about getting pushed around, shoulders knocking into his own every so often. it barely jolts him, more concerned about not losing or dropping any of his possessions.
he's practically buzzing where he stands once they get out of the queue and realise that wow, we're in disneyland. wide eyes scan the skyline with a hum bubbling up in his throat, and he doesn't even care to turn back as he takes jongin's hand -- he still has to look forwards and try to take it all in. colours flash before his eyes and he's releasing little, awed breaths, rocking back and forth from the heels to the balls of his feet as he tries to contain his excitement.
"it's even better than i thought," he manages, having to take a deep breath before continuing. "so! um, where do we go first?" admittedly, he's not good with roller coasters, but he doesn't want to tell jongin that; he'd rather brave through it and at least try to see if he's any better on them than the last time he had been, dating back to around six years ago. he has some hope in the fact that disneyland's for children, and so the rides shouldn't be too bad. or so he wishes.
