On This Day the 21st of December in 1967 The Beatles held a launch party for the Magical Mystery Tour TV film Invited were friends and relatives of the band as well as participants and crew members from the production. The event was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. All four Beatles attended with their partners, and the costumes were characteristically specific rather than random. John turned up as an Elvis style rocker while Cynthia Lennon wore a Victorian outfit. Paul McCartney and Jane Asher arrived as Pearly King and Queen, leaning into London tradition. Ringo Starr dressed as a Regency gentleman with Maureen Starkey as an Indian maiden🌻🌹🌸🌺

George Harrison chose an Errol Flynn style swashbuckler while Pattie Harrison wore an Eastern inspired costume that Cynthia described as "incredibly sexy"🌹

It was his birthday recently (9/10) so I just wanted to pay respect to one of my favorite artists of all time and the best way I coud think of doing it was with my own art, so here it is.

You were one weird man who lived a very messy life but despite everything still loved this world, it's music and it's people and I can garantee that in return this world still loves and misses you dearly, you who were gone too soon, you who left an impact in this world bigger then any of us could ever predict whose legacy will continue following so many generations to come after even my own -
