(Jonnor Fanfiction Prompt) (HCUFYB) Salutations, I'm Steven Manson. Connor Stevens and I have been dating for forever. Connor secretly likes his childhood friend, Jude. Oh and I am also diagnosed with leukemia. - Connor feels horrible about having feelings for someone else that isn't his boyfriend. Let only his cancerous boyfriend. Jude has just began dating Avery Greene, the nicest boy in school. Avery is very definition of devotion, he would do anything for his Jude. Jude, on the other hand, enjoys his company, but has lingering feelings for his childhood friend, Connor. And Steven? Steven just wants everyone to stop pestering him, so he can finish his game. With his cancer, Steven receives more, new attention he never got before. He wants Connor to not worry about him and be with Jude. (Slightly based off of the books/movies "Me, Earl and the Dying Girl" and "Paper Towns")

Just, Like, Six Months: Overview Pt. 3

End of Month 2/Start of Month 3 Jude’s plans in trying to get Arien and Machariah aren’t exactly go as planned. He soon find things out about both of them, he realises he probably wasn’t supposed to know. For instance the fact that the Swim Team unpopularity and their feud with the Padres Baseball team was fuelled by Mack’s departure from said baseball team. Also Mack and Arien broke up because of Arien’s recklessness in their relationship and Mack’s lack of interest. Soon moves onto his other teammate, the snobby preppy rich kid Walter, who has turned down Jude’s many advance to become his friend.

Meanwhile, at school, Connor finally has a taste of what it felt like for Jude to be a new kind. Dylan, the resident bad boy, has his eyes on Connor. Dylan is a grade ahead of Connor, but has a couple of class with Connor because of his “lack of motivation” in the school curriculum. Tommy warns Connor that Dylan is a bad influence and will get him in trouble. Connor doesn’t listen, wanting to be considered as cool with Dylan as his friend. Elsewhere Connor seems to suspect Caroline of hiding something from him in the basement she never let’s him venture down into.

Connor hesitantly came over to the bedside of his boyfriend. His amazing reckless boyfriend. Once he was close enough he delicately held the boy’s hand in his, “Connor, promise me one thing…”, Steven uttered as Connor moved a piece of hair from his face, so he could see his eyes, the eyes that have lived a million lives in too many video games. He was hesitant to respond, he was afraid he would mess up and it would all come out at once. Connor eventually said a raspy yes with a voice crack on the ‘y’, neither of them payed attention to it. “Promise me, once I’m gone, th-” Connor squeezed his hand, interrupting him, “No, don’t say that.” Steven repeated as Connor yes started to water, “Promise me, that once I’m gone, that you will love him like you once loved me, he deserves it. He deserves it more than me and I have cancer…” Steven chuckled, wiggled his toes under the sheets of the hospital bed and continued, “…I guess what I’m trying to say here Connor is- is that I want you to move on, this isn’t just a chapter ending this is a new one beginning. I shipped you guys so hard. You and Jude deserves this. I love you and I will miss you”, Steven finishes looking over to the window into the lobby at Jude sitting there reading a book, “…oh that reminds me, did you bring the peanut butter?” Connor just smiled retrieving the peanut butter and a spoon from his bag for his cancerous boyfriend…

Just, Like, Six Months: Overview Continuation Pt. 2

Month Two With Jude being on the swim team, it has brought many changes in his life. He has befriend Arien, the red velvet haired boy, and has met the rest of his new team. Mackariah (Zachariah with an M) Johnston, the bashful team captain, Charlie Sailor, the prettiest boy in school, Walter Patton, the sarcastic rich kid, and Arien, the friendly happy-go-lucky one. They all became fast friends with Jude, even going as far to have most of their team meetings at Jude’s house. During a team meeting, Jude learns that Arien and Mack use to date and that Arien still has a crush on him, while Mack is oblivious to his advances. Jude plays matchmaker during the day while he video chats with Connor during the evening.

Meanwhile Connor was bonding with his mom and finds out that she’s making him start school soon. After a couple days, a boy who claims to know him shows up at his doorstep. Caroline clarifies that the boy’s name is Tommy Rodriguez and he comes over now and again to mow her front lawn, she continues to say that he use to be Connor’s best friend back in 3rd grade. Connor doesn’t seem to remember this, but Tommy sure does and is quite determined to make Connor his friend again, while Caroline’s dog, Rosco, does not trust him. A week later he’s being driven to a posh private school where he already doesn’t fit in, but luckily for him already he knows someone (the super clingy Tommy) but unluckily for him, Tommy doesn’t fit in either. So new kid Connor and social outcast Tommy somehow become friends (because of Tommy’s eagerness to be Connor’s friend and Connor’s desperation to make one in this new unfamiliar setting). Then Connor meets Dylan, the resident bad boy, who’s intrigued and enticed by Connor naiveness. Even with all these new changes, he still makes time to video chat with his Jude.

“Ya know Connor…”, Taylor says as she comes up from behind Connor, interlocking their arms as they strolled down the corridors of their mediocre school. This was a different side of the girl who just yesterday was T.P.ing his house and “vandalizing” his gym locker. Let’s just say Happy Taylor is much scarier then Mean Taylor. She always preferred the Jude half of Jonnor over the Connor half, which is why Taylor always puts Connor on edge. “What Taylor? What exactly do I know?”, Connor asked slightly agitated, walking hesitantly on the arm of the girl he wronged, the arm of the girl that can hold a grudge, the girl who will always get even. A small shiver went down his spine as the two turned the corner into the cafeteria. “…Connor your like vanilla ice cream, everyone like you, but your nobodies favorite.”, Taylor stated untangling their arms as she walked off in the direction of Daria and their usual table, leaving an anxious Connor standing there confused. “Wha- What the heck was that suppose to mean! Taylor get back here…!” Connor exclaimed wondering what she was trying to insinuate…
