I love that the premise of great men academy is basically "so like, there's this all boys boarding school. And it's in the middle of nowhere in this magical forest, you know? And this magical unicorn wanders around granting wishes to special people, and it's pretty much common knowledge even though some people still kinda doubt that it's true. And the unicorn wish is the grand prize for this ridiculous tournament all these teenagers choose to enter for who's the greatest man. This all totally makes sense and is a plausible scenario!"

i finished great men academy in a sort of blur. i can’t believe it was that good! Just this lovely little fantasy story but everyone had very grounded in reality emotions. I am astounded. 

I highly rec the show about a unicorn that pushes you into a lake and gives you access to an all boys highscool that has a knock off venus de milo statue as the principal.

I am rewatching great men academy and i kinda wanted to do a summary  in drawing for each episode but as you can see I gave up half way through for episode one…

One little moment from Great Men Academy that I love so much is during that heart wrenching scene when Love rejects Tangmo, but he’s crying as he does it, and Tangmo goes, “why are you crying?? I’m the one being rejected here!”

I don’t know, I just think it’s so cute how Tangmo is still reacting in such a Tangmo way, but also how it hurts him to see Love cry, and how he’s sort of kinda trying to lighten the situation... just the Love/Tangmo dynamics in this show are so precious

GMA should make a season 2 that focuses on Tangmo, Menn and Nuclear teaching Love how to deal with his new body, how to win the competition and also how to do his hair in a less terrible way

I love the whole scene in the bathroom between Sean/rose and Love so much. Like the conversation was great, but I love the stark white bathroom and the mirror that's behind them. It looks so cool and so pretty. It's such a great cinematography choice.

Also the acting in this scene is phenomenal.
