Anyone else looking back at Hotel Transylvania and thinking there should have been a short flashback or short film about Hotel Transylvania where Johnny and Mavis are globetrotting so Mavis gets adventure, while Dracula is making small changes to the hotel so humans can visit?
Like, the short film should have Drac making adjustments, welcoming in the more gothic humans that beg him to sign the Dracula book, which, of course, he does, grateful someone doesn't ask him about the bleh-bleh-bleh, because it's never in the book, and we see him looking through a whole bunch of postcards from Mavis and Johnny's trips, Hawaii, Island of Dead Dolls in Mexico, whatever, with Johnny on the postcard hugging air and a hovering hat, because Mavis doesn't show up on camera, but you can see a child-like drawing of Mavis hugging Johnny in her place.
It then cuts to Johnny scribbling on a postcard from somewhere like Lake Natron, and Mavis looks over, "Johnny, what are you doing?"
Johnny looks up with a goofy smile, "I'm drawing you on the postcards before I send them to your dad so he can see how much fun you're having!"
I mean, come on! It would show how much Johnny loves Mavis, just like how Jonathan Harker loved Mina Murray.
