“Neeee, Jounouchi-kun get up! It’s almost 12 pm!” Yuugi tugs on his friend’s arm. He had went to his friend’s apartment because they both planned on going out to eat around this time, but when he got there, he saw that his lovely companion was still snoozing away in his bed!
“Jounouchi-kun come ooonnn you promised!” He huffs. Then he cupped his hands in front of his mouth and screamed. “JOUNOUCHI-KUN! SOMEONE IS GONNA COME BEAT ME UP, HELP ME!” Hopefully that would wake him up now...

A gentle sigh escapes the boy’s lips as he strokes over his friend’s hair comfortingly to indulge him in his bout of dramatics. “There there, Jahi. What’s wrong? Did some merchants get on your case again?”
"Hey! Lil' birdie told me it was your birthday so! How about I take ya to lunch and maybe to Kaiba's theme park and i dunno ya wanna catch a movie or somethin?"
"Jonouchi!?"
He also knew? And he was inviting him for an outing? It took all of his strength to avoid burying his face in his hands to conceal his face- at this rate he was going to explode and he didn't even want to know what kind of face he was making at that moment- surely it looked embarrassing as hell.
"That sounds-" Like a fucking dream come true? Yes, exactly, but he couldn't just say that- Then again, wasn't it good to just let it be known that he appreciated both the offer and the person it was coming from?
"It sounds great. I could ask for nothing more, honestly. Thank you." ... Hey. It wasn't all that hard. He could try this approach more often, maybe. This really was too good to be true, he was so stupidly excited at the prospect of spending the day like that. "I haven't been to Kaibaland in years- last time I wasn't tall enough to ride some of the attractions and I need to make up for that and as for the movie... I've never been to a cinema before? We can watch anything you'd like to see, I don't really know what the programming looks like for the day..." Ah, maybe he was going overboard now- He shook his head to stop himself.
"Sorry- I'll gladly take you up on your offer. Care to lead the way?"

it was two in the morning and honda had his phone against his ear listening to jou’s cries of panic. so, the man stretched out, still in his bed, and yawned the tiredness away--or at least tried to.
“wha’appened?” a groggy voice sounded as honda rubbed his eyes, sitting upright.
