When working on this abstraction, I used a gold color against a blue color background. I put the sun on the left, thinking of the beach where the sun rises. Working with abstractions is really fun.

Notan, black on white design work made with colored paper. Notan is a Japanese term which literally means "light dark harmony".

It is a work made by cutting and pasting square paper. It gives an interesting effect through the contrast of black and white paper.

Korea Art, Minhwa Tiger, and Magpie A piece of my work is waiting for you. This is art I worked on after watching K-pop's Demon Hunters. The image came from my imagination, and I designed and colored it after watching "Hojakdo."

I participated in the World Fusion Festival hosted by Pleasant Hill, CA. After pondering what kind of painting would best capture the Korean spirit, I decided to matte paint a Korean folk painting using acrylic gouache.
