How do I get a job as a pearl stringer I want to be like u
Heh, same way I have gotten all my weird ass jobs over the years: Craigslist, baby!
The ad was for like someone with good eyesight that can sort beads because they weren't gonna outright state it was for expensive stuff. I figured it sounded weird so I applied and then I happened to be instantly really good at it and now I'm set for however long, I never intend to leave.
It was just luck of the draw that the job had opened up. It's a tedious job which I very much love. Many people don't have patience for it but I thrive on this sort of thing. Training is usually like a month of practice but I was doing customer jobs my third day because I picked it up so quickly. The universe just aligned and put me right where I needed to be to have a chill fuckin life.
Anyways, idk if you will find a job as a stringer, most jewelers don't keep one in-house, but you'd be surprised the weird cool jobs that still get posted to Craigslist. I always try to work for small companies anyways, and they tend to be more likely to post on places like that, so it's a good place to look. Beware of scams but open to odd jobs.
