Readict stories are so badly curated and not edited. The alien series I just finished still had typos, despite being posted in 2021ish. I can't tell if the site is basically Wattpad or another site where users can upload whenever they want. But the covers they keep coming up with are mostly hilarious.

So many story-covers are just slap-dash whatever. The whole alien series had the wrong skin colors on the models. (All human tones, while the characters were shades of purple or red. Very much NOT human.) Usually it's just hair colors not matching.

More fun is when the same stock images are reused. I've been seeing a few different stories have the same model, even used in ads for other apps. Just last night, I found the same guy on a horny-blog I was browsing on tumblr.
