After successfully stealing a pool floatie he had been eyeing since he first got in the water, Silas made off with it with the intent to deflate it and take it with him after the cruise came to and end as a souvenir. It’s still tucked under his arm as he weaves through dotted lines of deck chairs in his getaway, though the escape plan was derailed as he happened upon a familiar face and a familiar form reclined on one. 

( Goddammit. ) 

Naturally, he’s incapable of just strolling on by, so instead he stands where him and his donut shaped contraband will block her sunlight while shaking his head like a wet dog so he could splash her with his damp hair. 

“It’s a pool party, not a lay down party,” Silas informs her, as though that was reason enough to justify his irritating way of saying hello. “Why didn’t you get in? I know how much you love pools.”
