Jordan was in dire need of a quick bite to eat and O’Donahues had some great food for snacking on. Plus, a small part of him loved just simply hanging out around the bar. Chatting with people whenever they were in the mood, hearing the stories that others had to tell about their lives. Sure, the place was usually packed and a cacophony of noise often graced the air - not to mention the fact that someone might have something to say about a hero being in a bar - but Jordan could catch his breath here just as easily as he could anywhere else.
However, there was one small downside to the place being packed. There was a lack of places to sit which is what kept Jordan wandering around the place until someone’s voice got his attention. His gaze flickered to the empty barstool that he happened to stop next to while a warm smile appeared on his face. “Thank you,” Jordan started as he took a seat. “I love coming here and know that other people need to take a load off too, but trying to find a spot is like trying to find Waldo.”
Oh, shit! Oh no. This was a crisis, and Tiffany will blame the dim bar lighting for that. She’d not realised it was Jordan Porter, she’d thought it was just some guy. But no, of course not -- of all the people in all of New York to come to this bar out of all the available bars, it would be one of the Omegas. They were total superstars in her eyes: Tiffany’s parents always talked so fondly of how admirable they were. Though it was never said directly, she knows they wish she was strong like them.
She sees him around the Institute sometimes, too, and he always seems super cool and friendly, in a Freddie Prinze Jr. kind of way. Like, he’s super nice, but also significantly cooler than you’ll ever be.
"Yeah, it is.” Tiffany laughs, desperately pretending she’s not been met with her own personal equivalent of meeting Brad Pitt or something. “But I mean, people would offer you a seat right? Because you’re like--” Er, how’s she going to finish that thought without sounding weird? “Like, people know you.” As far as she’s concerned, the Omegas are the kind of people that get priority seating.
