Hey guys, re: the scourge that was used to wreck up the temple and Castlevania: I think that hasn't been used as an origin for the vampire killer whip because associating a weapon that was originally used against Jews with a weapon especially effective against evil, blood-sucking creatures is just a biiiiiiiiiiiiit antisemitic. If it was just a generically anti-evil whip used to kill demons, sure, but it is specifically called the "vampire killer" so it's hard to escape that connotation.

Oof. That is a connotation I absolutely had not considered. Yeah, perhaps it’s for the best that they didn’t go with that one.

Unfortunately, you can't blame Team Ninja. Other M was written and directed by Yoshio Sakamoto, the guy who created Samus in the first place, and directed Super Metroid and Fusion.

oh man, that’s great news. last time I stopped was, like, the beginning of the fishman island, so there’s years of stuff I haven’t seen yet. now, whether or not I’m confident to jump into it when I’m already tackling this fuckin marvel backlog, that’s a whole other problem.

Blaaaze you got portable ops and peace walker mixed up. Portable ops is basically ignored while peace walker in mandatory for MGSV.

Sorry. A friend of mine replayed Portable Ops recently, so I figured that was “the one.”
