Little Jinder - Super 8

Sweden’s favorite disaster Little Jinder is back and this time Josefine brings a little bit of internet psychedelia for her latest video "Super 8″. Recruiting Ossian Melin for the job, the director best known for his work with Yung Lean transports Josefine Jinder to Japan where the video’s web anachronisms play out over her latest melodrama. It’s a video that’s definitely on the other side of the pop spectrum, but Jinder’s childish vocal squee to her twinkling keyboard arrangements aren’t hard to agree on. Translating the track, “Super 8″ details a spontaneous relationship which Jinder wishes to rewind, and you can check out the video below:

Little Jinder - Random Folk

While Josefine Jinder has been keen to promote herself as Sweden’s favorite disaster, her latest video for “Random Folk” sees a new transformation. Directed and styled by Nordic unicorn Tommie X, the video sees Jinder as your new glittery late 90s, early 2000s platinum-blonde pop princess. Oozing with pop culture references ranging from Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie to more recent it-couple Jay-Z and Beyonce, “Random Folk” acts as her latest “You and I” anthem. While on the surface the song is seemingly quite silly and kitsch, it’s at the same time a track that is soft and sweet, reverberating those feelings through Jinder’s delicate vocals.
