Jose's Underground Lounge is back hosting shows this week with an all-metal three band lineup. Two of the bands are from Portland, while the sole California band proves that you don't need more than two band members to create really loud doom metal.

June 20 (Thu) - It is no secret that local band The Audio Waltz puts on a great show, but now they are bringing The Stages Of Sleep (San Francisco) and their eclectic self-proclaimed indie-gypsy-rock to Jose's Underground.

Jun 22 (Sat) - One band doesn't have a guitar player. The other has an acoustic guitar. That doesn't stop either band from crafting great instrumental post-rock.

Jun 21 (Fri) - The great Peter Case (of power pop masters The Nerves and Plimsouls) must really love the Monterey area. In the past year he has played both the Alternative Cafe and the Golden State Theatre. His latest show is at the Fernwood Resort in Big Sur. Also playing are Deep Ellum.
