After Beto's "hell yes we'll take your AR-15" in last night's debate in Houston, state Rep. Briscoe Cain quote-tweeted the campaign tweet expressing the same sentiment adding "My AR is ready for you Robert Francis." One could argue that this is not a death threat, merely Briscoe offering to give his gun to Beto, but that would be ignoring Briscoe's past political positions. (He is certainly referencing the "Come and Take It" refrain from 1836, which was put on a flag and prefaced armed conflict.)

protested drag queen storytime in Montrose, a gay district of Houston that is NOT in his legislative district
blocked constituents who disagree with him on Twitter
District 128 is a very red district and while many people, even Republicans!!, in the district can't stand this man-child, it's been difficult to find a candidate to primary him (the course most likely to result in him losing his seat). His stiffest competition outside of a primary came in the form of a Libertarian in the 2018 election. Yeah.

Briscoe is bad for District 128, bad for Texas, and a dangerous voice to have a platform (like a verified account on Twitter).
