1997-03-13: Agents of Good Roots ~ Josha’s, Breckenridge, CO
Another Virginia college band plays Breck and I go. I started with Dave Matthews, then moved on to Gibb Droll, and finally at the suggestion of Gibb himself (and also indirectly from Dave Matthews) I went to go check these guys out. Little did I know what I was getting into this night. I ended up seeing these guys almost 20 times over the next 4 years.
For some reason I didn’t record this show. I vaguely remember going to the show with my recorder and asking the sound man for a patch and he said the band needed to approve it first. We never found anyone so I think it was a no go.
Anyway the show was great, I was instantly hooked on these guys as well. Interestingly this was the only time I saw these guys in Colorado. I moved back to Vermont shortly after this show to finally finish up college.
