12/6/14 Josh Samman (RIP) vs Eddie Gordon. In 2013, Samman lost his girlfriend in an auto-accident while she was texting him, he lost his stepfather, and struggled to come back from a devastating injury of his own. He hasn't been in The Octagon for 612 days and dedicated this fight to his girlfriend, Hailey, and others who helped him to get his life back on track. He has one more impressive victory after this, but then two consecutive difficult losses. In October of 2016, at the age of 28, Josh Samman died of a drug overdose after spending a week in a coma.
