Is the Leon from the Laurent gets kidnapped/breaks a leg story, the same Leon from your AO3 story. Or is it a different universe?

I love questions about Leon! (Okay, I’m pretty easy, I love all questions about my fic.)

Is Leon in the “Leon” series the same as when Laurent has a broken leg?

There isn’t any specific relation between the two series; you don’t need to have read one to read the other. They could be in the same universe in that case! But also I reuse the name Leon for Jokaste’s baby even when it’s clearly not the same universe (a forthcoming fic will make this clear) because I like the name Leon and I’m terrible at naming characters.

Yes, I have thought about Laurent’s sexuality a fair amount. I’ve also talked about it with @tresa-cho. 

There’s something ironic to me having this headcanon given that I’m fairly sure I’ve written more about Laurent having sex than anyone else at this point. Hahahhaha.

Do you think you're going to keep writing the "Questions" fic? I thought it was really good, especially chapter 4. I really liked chapter 4 and how you portrayed Laurent <3

I’m glad you enjoyed the Questions series! I never say never to things like finishing a fic idea, but there are a fair number of other fic ideas that I think about now far more frequently than that one. So it would probably take some sort of inspired idea to return to that (which sometimes happens!).

I actually see some resonances with that fic in the one I’m currently working on (a marriage AU). They both end up featuring a fair amount of Laurent thinking about sex, and reveal one of my personal headcanons that Laurent is vaguely confused by sex and possibly asexual.

Oh, they will be okay. At that point they'll be surrounded by dozens of adorable grandchildren and great grandchildren, and Leon will have finally matured enough to be a competent ruler. So it will be sad but their lives will have been full.

Are you excited about the upcoming Lamen short story? I have read some amazing epilogue fanfics so part of me is worried that the real thing might not live up! Is that weird??

I don’t think it’s weird, anon! I have some of the same fears.

But at the same time, I worried that looking forward to Kings Rising for so many years would mean it would assuredly fail to please me when I finally read it, and I enjoyed it immensely. So I suspect I will find enjoyment in the epilogue even as I enjoy anticipating it. For example, perhaps Laurent has grown his hair out and will have longer locks in the epilogue, hahahaha. :D

Hello! :) Do you think that Laurent will ever relax completely with Damen? Like completely let his guard down and not think? Eg. in bed.

Yes, with the caveat that I don't think Laurent is ever inclined to do this often. But by the end of Kings Rising I think Laurent is actually more ready to relax with Damen than Damen is ready to relax with Laurent. So there will be a time of getting Damen comfortable with the two of them, and the sometimes he will be able to tease Laurent over the edge of abandon.
