Why doesn't anybody watch Buffy anymore?
You know what makes me so sad? The fact that NOBODY watches the AMAZING show that is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I mean you have:
a kick butt female lead who is given depth beyond liking to punch things and/or shopping
complex metaphors about growing up, grief, love and more
characters that are literally to die for
MAJOR character devolopment for every . single . character
exceptional storytelling
some of the best one liners I've ever heard
the only good musical episode I've seen in television
some of the first LGBTQ+ representation in television

Buffy reboot thoughts
No Thank you. BTVS is fine they way it is a reboot was neither desired nor required. Not to mention the show its self was a soft reboot of the movie.
A sequel I'd be actually more the fine with.
Also quick opinion on the changing of Buffy's race...I honestly just can't picture it, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy has been burned into my brain. Anyone else as Buffy would feel wrong and I would be like "be gone imposter!"
Instead of retooling Buffy, why not create a new slayer and give her the chance to grow and develop in a similar way Buffy herself did
Or even why not Fray adaption?
