1980's inspired Teen Titans

Here's some fun Teen Titans redesigns I did for the heck of it. I'm still working on Blackfire, and I am hoping to get around to some of the others. I know the roster of characters I have right now doesn't make any particular type of sense. But I just started drawing the characters that I like to draw and let it grow from there :)

My mom managed to dig up some old teen titans comics from when she was a kid. They were printed in black and white (I'm assuming to save money) but she had coloured in the characters herself in a couple of places which is really cute 😭❤️

Bruce: that fit you literally yesterday

Dick: yes

Bruce: Jesus

Dick(sobbing on the phone): and- and all the titans hate me and im a terrible leader and- I- I shouldn’t have left and I-

Bruce: have you eaten anything today sweetie?

Dick(sniffling): no..?

Bruce: baby.

Dick: I’ll go make a sandwich..

Bruce: I’ll get Clark to drop you all off some muffins ok? His ma makes them great

Dick: make sure theirs some vegan ones bb doesn’t eat animal products

Bruce: of course your worrying about someone else- don’t worry sweetheart I didn’t forget, now go get your sandwich

Dick(yelling bloody murder): DAD

Bruce(running down the corridor): what?? What are you ok?

Dick: I need more deodorant

Bruce: …

Bruce: I’m buying you roll on

Wally(running into the manor holding dick by his collar):

Dick(hasn’t slept in 4 days):

Wally: help

Bruce(scooping dick up in his arms): thanks kid, I’ll call you when he’s ok to come back

Wally(thumbs up before he zips off again):

Dick: Wally :(

Bruce: no Wally until you’ve slept sweetie

Dick(already snuggling up to him): pot meet kettle

Bruce(waiting for coffee to brew at 2:30 am):

Dick(walking past with a load of laundry):

Bruce/dick(blank eye contact):

Bruce: yknow what I don’t wanna know, laundry detergent is on the top shelf

Dick: thanks b

Phone(call from cyborg):

Bruce(picking up): hello victor, what do you need?

Victor(mildly panicked and incredibly tired): does he normally sleep walk?

Bruce: yeah, just keep him away from any rooftops

Victor: what-

Bruce(hangs up):

Dick(sitting on the floor of the cave with broken knuckles): fucking zucco

Bruce(sitting next to him with a med kit): I know baby, but you can’t fight him with broken bones

Dick: I’m gonna kill him

Bruce(cleaning his knuckles): I can’t stop you, but wait until your older, I don’t want you to regret anything

Dick(wiping eyes): I know dad

Dick(calling Bruce at midnight): would you be mad if I got my ears pierced?

Bruce: not at all as long as you get them professionally done

Dick(icing his bleeding ears as Kori panics in the background): uh huh

Bruce(deep sigh): chum.

Dick: anyways bye dad i love you (hangs up)
