Sliding in at the last moment with my entry for @annjoanneblaze 's DTIYS featuring her incredible OC, Joss! Congrats on 2k - now 3.5k!!
Joss was sent to a rocky world in the Outer Rim to deal with a smuggler who double-crossed Crimson Dawn. She was given a name and the description of a pink Twi'lek woman.
As the Force would have it, a different pink Twi'lek woman - Gida Tiatkin - was on that very planet. Having followed a lead that her master - whom she'd been separated from during Order 66 - may have been on-world, Gida was making her way back to her fighter at the outskirts of town. Before she could reach it, Joss appeared at the top of a outcropping.
Joss, assuming this was the target, drew her saber. Seeing the red twin blade, Gida assumed she was an Inquisitor, and in a panic drew her own saber. The fight was brief, but intense; Gida was out of practice, but managed to parry Joss's blade long enough and spoke quickly enough to convince her that she wasn't the target. Gida hurried away, and Joss stalked into the city.
It was only after they parted ways that both women came to the same realization: "I knew her."
[Gida was a Padawan during the Clone Wars, so even if she and Joss weren't friends, they likely would have crossed paths]
