This is a digital illustration for Lele5429’s Linked Universe fanfiction Retired Assets in the style of a colourful stained glass. The composition is vertical in 4:3 ratio. The foreground subject is Blind the Thief, a humanoid feline boss from A Link to the Past. He has narrow glowing eyes, sharp teeth, short muzzle, flame-like fur, and he appears to be reaching forward with one orange coloured claw under tethered robes in earth tones. Behind him, emerging from the monster’s silhouette and partially wrapping around him through threads of energy is an image of Legend from the waist up. His tousled blond hair partially veils one eye, and he is turned slightly over his shoulder, his face enigmatic under its seemingly neutral expression. The background is kaleidoscopic and non-representational, punctured by fractured stained-glass shards, spirals, broken halos, jagged polygons, and prismatic fragments, all in neon colors. The background should feel hallucinatory and unstable, like shattered reality. The colour palette features cool nocturnal blues, indigos, violets, magentas, and hints of cyan around the hero at the back and to the left half of the composition; fiery golds, ambers, oranges, and copper around the monster in the foreground and lower right; flashes of acid green and electric cyan in the fractured background throughout.
