7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?I’m one of those people who become really annoyed with overexposure, so the answer to that is tons of things, but one in specific I’d say is the Monster High dolls. I enjoyed the variety of them but they’ve really ruined that lately and all the dolls have the same face mold and stickers for eyes instead of the nice paint jobs they did, and the worst part is the kind of monsters just aren’t unique and clever anymore. They really bombed out.
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
I guess it’s hard to say Reylo is an unpopular opinion nowadays, isn’t it? I mean I still get a ton of hate and anger from people who actually care about me, for liking the dynamic of these two, so it’s unpopular in my personal circle, but my God it’s taking off lately.. which actually makes me a little stressed about it tbh (see above) and it makes me start venturing out into all of my other ships more. Thankfully I’ll always have Reylux. <3
But I think if we’re talking about an opinion I have that is really unpopular on tumblr, it’s that tumblr is not a good sample of majority thought, in general. There’s a lot of really strong opinions on tumblr about a lot of things, but man.. when you get out in the real world and survey what a real majority thinks, it blows my mind how small this community really is.
18. Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?
LORD NO! I was a huge fan of Katara and Aang back when ATLA finished, but I was WELL AWARE of how much more popular Katara and Zuko was, and I fully understood that ship and thought the art was beautiful, but that doesn’t mean I shipped it. I didn’t need Zutara fans to conform to my thoughts or the shows thoughts, nor did I need to conform to a Zutara fans thoughts. We all can ship and enjoy the ships we choose, without worrying about other peoples decisions. If Reylo doesn’t become canon, we’ll still ship it because being canon isn’t the point. And if it does become canon, I will also continue to ship Finnrey, because being canon isn’t the point.
The point is that I like it.
