College au! SO version! (Obviously JotaMes)

So an AU I have is that Jolyne goes to college in the local Florida area and Jotaro works at as a teacher there. Jolyne befriends new girl Hermes who’s on a scholarship to the school, Hermes is also in Jotaro’s class.

Jotaro doesn’t pay her much mind until Jolyne brings her home for things like studying and just hanging out. One day, Hermes shows up to the house during the summer months when Jolyne’s out with her bf Anasui going to visit her mom upstate.

Jotaro and Hermes get close during this time, and eventually, indulge in each other to blow off some steam. This goes on to be a secret relationship.

I ain’t got nothing other than this bare bones plot, but I can imagine Hermes and Jotaro trying their hardest not to get their relationship figured out with close calls.

i really like what you have laid out so far! jolyne is smart, so hermes & jotaro are going to have to be incredibly careful not to get caught. (god forbid weather is somewhere in the equation, because he'd figure it out pretty quickly as well, lmao)

i can imagine jotaro and hermes bonding in quiet silence, and hermes eventually managing to bring jotaro out of his shell. the drama!! the intrigue!! the emotions!! all good stuff.

I thing I like to do when I’m writing JotaMes stories is that Hermes had a past crush/relationship with Weather. And depending if she dated him or not, or kept her crush to herself, she would absolutely devastated at his death either way.

Since Pucci dies in these types of stories, the rest of the gang tries to assimilate back into normal life, with Hermes being the most damaged one. She lost her sister, she lost her father long ago, and now she lost her lover/husband (not officially married, but they were in her eyes) all now dead and gone. And now, she’s just reduced to a normal human again.

She falls into a deep depression where she’s a shell of her former self. And since JolySui are usually also in these stories, Jolyne is too busy to help be at her friends side 24/7. And since Jotaro’s recovering too and he doesn’t know Hermes well, he offers to help her recover. And since Hermes is so lost and drifting through life, she can’t tell if these feelings are genuine or if her brains thinking she’s in love with him because he’s similar to Weather.

Jotaro and Hermes do eventually end up together in these stories, but not without a lotta Hermes Hurt first. It needs the perfect amount of angst, fluff, eventual smut, and a happy ending to make it good JotaMes story.

Now I need to know if I can write a full JotaMes story, lmao

ooh, you've put a lot of thought into this! i think you'd be able to write a lovely story, as it's clear you have a lot of ideas with passion behind them! i'd love to read it, if you do. hermes and jotaro bonding over trauma is 👌 i feel like jotaro's trauma isn't always touched on, so having a fic where it's acknowledged in the process of a forming relationship would be refreshing.

HHGGNNNNGG, FUCK, I feel bad for that those types of authors who are clearly the only captain of their ship.

I’ve found this new ship called WeatherMes (Weather/Hermes) in the JJBA fandom. And between this tag and another tag that’s Jotaro/Hermes, it’s just this one author who’s just writing up a storm for these two rarepairs.

It makes me feel bad for these types of authors because it’s clear their enthusiastic about something but there’s no one in the same boat for them to share it with, so they just keep it to themselves and occasionally throw it onto the internet in hopes of recruiting people into the thing they like.

I feel like I wanna comment something on that person’s fic but I don’t know what! 😭

you should absolutely comment, anon!! i bet it'll make that author's day. in fact, i know it will. rarepairs can be lonely, and seeing someone enthusiastic about your rarepair work can feel super validating!! honestly, just commenting stuff like 'i really enjoyed this' or 'AAAA I LOVED THIS' is perfectly fine if you can't think of anything else. i often struggle with putting into words how much i enjoy something, so often it's just me screaming in the tags for stuff i like, lmao.

also... both those ships sound intriguing, especially WeatherMes 👀 i will have to peruse the tags for both!

Funni JotaMes thought: Hermes is completely listing over Joot man, but she doesn’t say it out loud. So she talks to few select members of the group about him (obviously not Jolyne as she’ll kick her ass).

She one day makes the foolish mistake of blabbing to Foo abt him, and since Foo doesn’t know shit about secrets, she goes around telling Jolyne and the others what she said.

Jolyne never became more scarier to Hermes that day! XD

Oh to be a fly on the wall in that moment! lol

Jolyne would definitely be "wtf are you thinking that's my dad" at first. And it would take some time to get used to, especially after the divorce (and y'know, daddy issues).

But once she sees how happy Jotaro and her best friend are together, she lets it slide :)

Silly WeatherMes/JotaMes thought (this idea works for both ships)

Weather/Jotaro gets Hermes her own version of his hat as a way of proposal.^^

ohhh, this is cute and silly! i love it, lmao. i bet both of them have a collection of hats... jotaro has a little variety in the design, but weather's hats are all the same.

Anonysis here again, and I’m so sorry for bothering you, but that single mom Hermes story is just bouncing in my mind, heh. There’s no need to make changes this time, here’s just a few bullet points of what Hermes is going thru:

-Hermes is broke, having no job to support her or Gloria.

-Hermes is unemployed, again, no job.

-She’s in a deep depression due to Weather’s death and the fact she was never able to tell Weather about Gloria. Sometimes, the guilt and PTSD from the fight overwhelms her and she just can’t get out of bed (or her car seat) in the mornings, but hearing Gloria cry hurts her already bleeding heart. So she gets up anyway.

-When she makes it to Jotaro’s house, it starts to rain. Causing Jotaro to get her and the baby inside the house quickly.

-Hermes is wearing her prison clothes but wears her father’s jacket over her and the child. She has bags under her eyes, and her hairs a mess. Gloria is relatively clean compared to her mother.

-Hermes had to sell most of her clothes for money she spent on her, Gloria, and for food for the both of them. The only thing she has left is a couple pairs of shoes, ten pairs of shirts, and few pairs of skirts/pants/and dresses. They only fit into a gym bag and one suitcase.

-Gloria’s appearance is up to you. I was thinking Gloria had blond hair (cuz Hermes’s sister, Gloria had it) she has Weather’s blue eyes, and Hermes in the face (I.e, nose, lips, facial structure. Her eyes are large and doughy, but still sharp like her mother’s)

-Hermes admits she wanted to put Gloria up for adoption. But breaks down at the thought of it, saying that Gloria is the only piece of Weather she has left and is her first child, she doesn’t want to leave her, but she doesn’t want her daughter to see her struggle either.

-Gloria is scared of Jotaro at first, but his fatherly instincts and calm movements with her easily puts her on ease and warms up to him pretty quickly.

-It’s already been stated, but Hermes is a complete mess. After the shopping trip, Hermes is completely burnt out. Gloria starts crying, and Hermes is just begging her to stop crying as she’s had a long day and wants some rest. Jotaro sees this and tells her to take a shower, put on her pajamas, and go to bed. Hermes doesn’t try to argue with him as he’s right. While she’s taking a shower, Jotaro does manly, father things and puts Gloria to bed.

-As he’s putting her to bed, he sees that Hermes has snuggled up in his bed. He’s surprised, but after seeing how comfortable she looks, for what might be the first time in a while, he climbs in bed with her. Kissing her goodnight before wrapping his arms around her waist.

-She often talks to a picture of Weather before bed, always apologizing for ending up like this and not telling him sooner. She asks him for forgiveness, but doesn’t get a response in return. Jotaro hears this one night and this is what prompts him to offer her a room in his bed so she wouldn’t have to be alone in her own thoughts.

-Hermes and Jotaro have may or may not have underlying feelings for each other (this note is completely optional), thus causing the reasons why they kiss each other.

-Hermes is a bit of a worrywart with Gloria, but Jotaro always reassures her that everything’s fine. This causes her heart to speed up a bit and her cheeks to burn.

That’s all the notes I have tbh, I feel like you’ll have a lot of fun exploring this! (Okay, this is actually my last one, thank you!^^)

I can imagine poor Emporio catching Kiss and Star just doing OUTRAGEOUS things to each other.

Poor boy probably forgot his gaming set or something in his room and then he accidentally walks in on Star just completely railing the sense out of Kiss while Hermes is just sitting red-faced on the couch about to pass out while Jotaro is just squeezing and squishing her plump thighs.

Eventually they sloppily kiss each other and that’s where Emporio leaves, thinking that it’s probably best if he plays some other games for the time being.

Oh poor Emporiooooo lol. He'd debate asking about it later, maybe even warm up to the thought of asking Jotaro. When he gets around to it, Jotaro just acts like he has no idea what Emporio's talking about. Then the poor boy just keeps to himself.

Enter HERMES, who has the hots for Jotaro but doesn’t explicitly say it. In fact, she keeps all the horny thoughts to herself.

So when Jotaro and Hermes are hanging out, Kiss will try to seduce Star Platinum in various ways. From rubbing her juicy ass on his loincloth, to seductivly saying “kissssuuu~~” in his ear. She’s always trying to get Star one way or another.

Star’s a little dense in terms of love but immediately gets what she’s trying to do once she starts sticking her tongue out and making “certain hand movements” regarding her mouth and tongue. And soon, he starts playing with her too with twice the force. Almost causing Kiss to orgasm on multiple occasions.

Jotaro and Hermes constantly have red faces whenever their around each other because their stands CANNOT STOP BEINF HORNY

Ooooh~ This sounds really good! I love some good stand ships. They have to be careful where they mess around because they don't want anyone to see (especially Jolyne). But they can go at it in general public all they like ;) Though it would be kinda funny if some random stand user on the street witnessed a Star on his knees, going to town on Kiss in public, but the users are casually hanging out on the park bench lololol.
