I just want to briefly mention how freaking much I love Jou’s character development in Tri, he turned from someone who never shows up when needed into the person that comes to the scene first! The character development here is beautiful! ♥

Who is your favorite duo?😊

Honestly this always changes depending on the day but, most of the time nowdays, it’s Jou & Gomamon ♥ They are absolutely amazing!

Other duos I absolutely love are Mimi & Palmon, Takeru & Patamon and Hikari & Tailmon!

Countdown to Digimon Adventure Tri. Part 6: Bokura no Mirai/Our Future premiere! - 5 weeks left - Jou Kido & Gomamon

My countdown series continues! And it’s time for another unexpected favourite of mine: Jou Kido and his partner Gomamon!

I used to not care for this duo at all, but during my revisit to Digimon in japanese, I fell in love with Jou’s characterisation and Gomamon’s lovely sassy personality. It’s so darn good, and it’s definitely something I personally enjoy a lot! I absolutely adore how they’ve been in Tri as well! Gomamon’s evolution scene in Ketsui is still among my favourite scenes in all of Digimon ♥ And I will never stop loving Jou coming at Not!Gennai in Soushitsu! That’s my boy!

This was my first time drawing Jou, and second time drawing Gomamon! This took longer to do than previous pieces of chosen children, but I’m really happy with it! Next week, time for yet another unexpected favourite ♥ Look forward to it! Just 5 weeks left til the premiere of the final movie!
