- You would need to be witty. No one wants to listen to a bland reporter just rallying all the facts. They want to here some humor in there too
- You would need to be somewhat cunning. Especially if you’re writing a debate article
- You would need to have a certain amount of pride. No one wants to watch a reporter who’s stuttering over every word and is unsure of themselves. They wouldn’t trust the information that they’re being given.
- You would have to be observant. The best reporters use a lot of details to get their point across in an article. In order to gather those details, you need to be observant.
- You would need to be inquisitive and curious. If you know what a journalist does I shouldn’t have to explain this one.
