30 years old now...

Honestly, I didn't think I'd make it this far. But here I am 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's been my birthday for 2 hours. I have so much shit to do when it's daytime 🫩 I kinda got drunk by myself sooo, this will be an interesting day I guess.

I don't like the attention of birthdays. But I do appreciate my best friend who sent art supplies as a birthday gift 🥹 supporting my art. Amazing.

i think i’m becoming a little resentful of how little my partner knows about my whole—you know. all of it. And another thing. I see this a lot. 'I don't expect every public entertainment figure to state their political belie---' well I do. Because politics isn't private. Politics is a public thing by its very nature, it's a forum of people participating in something concerns everybody: the governance of their society.

I very much expect people to state their political beliefs, because I want to know where my money goes. I want to make an informed decision, which force in my society I am supporting with resources for them to spread their message. If you're selling me something, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I'M SUPPORTING WITH THAT MONEY.

I repeat: if you want my money for your goods, I want to know what invisible things I'm buying with my money. Because you're never just buying the product, you're also financing the person themselves, that allows that person to have more impact on the society around them.

Simple as.

I really need to do something with the Dark Brotherhood oc I had a dream about a while back someday. The basis of it was he was a really high ranking member, Speaker or something of the sort, but instead of the usual assassin's gear he was a knight. Walked around in a black suit of armor that was really spiky and imposing but he was surprisingly soft-spoken and gentle. Had a very world weary air about him. Best descriptor I can think of is like, a Soulsborne-type npc who ended up in the wrong game and was sick to bastard death of his job.

I said this when I presented my senior thesis on Kingdom Hearts, but I really think that one of the most beautiful takeaways from this series is the fact that it provides a literal representation to the idea that there is always a place in our hearts for the most vulnerable and helpless people, so long as we’re willing to make room for them.

Sora’s kindness is a sanctuary to those who need a second chance or those who feel incomplete and empty. His heart is strengthened by the compassion he feels towards those who need it most.

ya ever think about how obito was recovering in madara’s lair and probably remembered how kakashi made comments about his goggles and planned on roasting kakashi about losing his eye like “yeah bet you wish you had those goggles then huh” when he got back to the village.

and if he did end up going back, initially it’s kinda awkward for them because kakashi did it to save obito but then obito saved kakashi and gave him an eye so they both feel kind of guilty and weird about it. but eventually it becomes their own morbid joke they use between them

and they outright lie to their students about it too. kakashi tells them that obito thought he was so amazing that he just gave his eye one day as a gift and that obito secretly thought he was the best ninja to ever grace the leaf village. meanwhile obito’s just like “yeah that bastard drugged me and cut my eye out but he was sensei’s favorite so nobody did anything about it and he didn’t even let me keep his eye he threw it into the river and told me that the fish were more worthy. anyway we’re good friends to this day”
