why yes, i’ve grown to quite hate my handwriting, thank you.
finals are finally done, so i took this opportunity to relieve stress and write self-indulgent entries again. now the worst part has begun- waiting for results. i’ve received a few of my scores already and i’m admittedly not satisfied with all of them, so here’s to the hope of better grades ahead.
i hope you’re having a better week than i am though!

Brandi Carlile was so so good. she had such a dynamic stage presence, she was like jumping around and always smiling and you could just tell how thrilled she was to be there (she knows it was showing too, she was like “can you tell this is the happiest i’ve ever been in my life”). she said she’d wanted to play Massey Hall as long as she’s been playing Toronto and it was a literal dream come true for her. they came around in front of the mics to play The Eye totally unplugged because “a space like this has its own voice” and it was BEAUTIFUL.
also in the preamble to The Mother she told very cute stories about her 4-year-old vs the concept of death, then when she was saying she wrote it because all you ever hear from other parents before becoming a parent is how amazing it is she was like “it’s all the straight people! they’re tryna get us!”
anyway i love her
Happy lesbian day of visibility, a cute girl at work complimented my interlocking Venus necklace and we talked about how I need it to counteract my long hair and dresses

Thank you Michelle Visage for placing this directly at the top of my instagram feed. Mine is The Magnificent Thunder Bush. My partner’s is just Fancy Destroyer. My roommate, who was in the room when I found this and was subjected to it, has The Incredible Love Muffin. I can’t stop finding all my friends’ initials and they’re all good.
2017 in selfies. This year felt long, the early ones are hard to step back into.
