“Aesthetic Vintage Layout” This is what I'm calling this lovely page which is a product of the "Trust the Process" process. To be honest, I wasn't expecting this to turn out as good as I imagined. it's the perfectionist in me who thinks about "Messing up" all the time. It's funny because I always say and encourage people to experiment and here I am afraid of it. Yet I was able to withstand that and do what I like to do without fear and here it is! I am so happy with how this lovely spread of mine turned out!
The process has been very interesting because most of the time, every time that I do my journal spread, I tend to put different things (stickers, and so forth), Even if they don’t color-match. This time, I made it with browns and a slight variation of color. Post processing created an ambiance for the whole picture. I love doing the post process when I take photos. Often, having that “Perfectionist Eye” is a big struggle when making something new. I don’t like to mess up, but it’s part of the process and the mistakes turn out to be stepping stones to do better.
