Monster and Redbull mix for late night stories due at 8am

Multiple flash drives full of music and interviews to ad on air, cluttered in a pocket.

Playing genres of music no one knows.

Reporting campus drama

Never actually knowing whats going on on campus cause you're always in the radio station or working on stories.

Either TV ready or sleep deprived sweatshirt/pants duo, never anywhere in between.

Having to explain you're not nosey when meeting new friends and they find out you're a journalist.

My college degree finally came in the mail this morning! I have been a little worried about this for weeks, so I am glad that it came in the mail today! Proud to announce today that after weeks of “making sure” that it was true, I will be officially graduating from @waynestatecollege in May 2019, more specifically May 4, 2019, which also just happens to be my birthday that day too. I am so happy about this because I have worked hard over the last five years to complete my degree (journalism major). The reason it took so long or longer than normal was, well, let’s just say that colleges do not make things easy and that it’s all about money now (just being honest), especially if you are a community college transfer like I was. To be honest, I don’t know whether or not I would do all of this again because of how much it has put a strain on me and my family over the years.
