The roles have been switched. ✨ Thank you to everyone who have supported me through my turmoils—Lord knows I won’t get into half of them. Being a little kid from the streets of Highland Park in Richmond who have endured multitudes of adversity, I am truly beyond blessed and overwhelmed. I hope I can be a shining beam of light to girls like me.💜 ig: @aliyahleshae

Walk Of Shame
It’s 7 AM.
I just walked all the way across campus after falling asleep on my best friend’s floor by accident.
Middle-aged white woman joggers judge so hard.
Chill out, Karen.
The morning air is glorious, damp from the night-long rainstorm, but crisp. I want to go for a run, or do something creative, something fun, but to be honest I’m exhausted from crying my eyes out about life last night.
Abigail too, fell asleep, while writing a paper. When I left this morning, turning off her desk lamp on the way out the door, her stuff was all over her bed, and she was nestled up among the obnoxious amount of pillows she keeps on her bed. Her laptop was still open and cradled in her arms.
College truly is the worst of times and the best of times. I’m not ready to leave.
