hello tumblr! its been years since my last post so im not sure anyone remembers me, but throughout that time my journaling never stopped. Heres some bits from my current journal, which is my 14th journal to date.
I started journaling when I was 17, I'm now 22, 5 years have passed - 14 journals completed (or almost), Ive graduated with a degree, moved out of my childhood home and back in again, got a job and a global pandemic hit.
I'm not sure whether this post will mark this blogs revival or not, but I thought I'd pop in and say hello for a moment of nostalgia.
at first i didnt know how i felt about it because i was bored at certain parts, but ultimately i am super intrigued in the whole premise now than i was during the premiere week. more importantly though, i find myself really caring for the characters (esp Bong Hee and Yeol~). so thats why im going to continue lol. and i say just go for it !! just give it at least until episode 3 if you're like me and wasnt hooked immediately :)
Journaling has been slow recently, this journal has been a very lazy one , I am highly anticipating my next journal - it's gorgeous I can't wait to start writing in it
A random ask for free here ya go, how's it going? I was in that mood earlier lol
ive honestly been feeling pretty meh lately. but then agaain thats actually the story of my life too *sighs*
[story time]
although earlier, one of my class was let out early and since i still had like an hr before my next class i decided to visit the fancy ass bookstore thats literally across campus, thinking that i would just peruse some books, as i havent visited a bookstore in a long time now, and then just to the left when you enter i saw this new set up thingy and they were selling Aesop products and i was like OH MY GAH
i had heard of the line on youtube, and i remember one of my fave lifestyle vloggers mentioned them and how much they liked the products so i was in any case, suuuper excite to say the least.
well i approach them and one of the lady was incredibly nice (a trait of people that work in customer service that i will always reserve a whole lotta respect for) and showed me all of these dope stuff. she asked about my skin condition la di da di da, and i also told her that i was looking for a moisturizer with SPF that is still lightweight enough to be worn underneath make-up.
and omg the the thing she showed me smelled heavenly and i really liked it and all but this salesperson was honestly trying to get me to spend FOURTY freaking dollas on a damn moisturizer that had only an SPF of 15 that was the size of a travel friendly bottle of toothpaste?? i mean come on i live in the most humid and hottest states and i have no $$…really?
anyways, i skipped that and she also showed me this toner thing, but i dont really like toners anyways soooo. then she took my hand and tried this cleanser on me and omg it felt so good, and there really was like a hydrating sensation that also felt really clean when she dried my hand off. and the smell, like all the products it seemed, was A++ too.
so yeah, thats the story of how my broke ass shelled out like $35 dollars for a cleanser :)))
