Captured is Journey's #first #live #album. Recorded during their Departure #Tour, it was released on January 30, 1981 on the Columbia Records label. The album reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and went on to sell two million copies.
This album was recorded during the band's "Departure" tour in 1980. Tracks 1 to 4 were taken from a performance recorded at The Forum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on August 8, 1980. Tracks 5 & 6 were from the performance at the end of the tour in Koseinenkin Hall, Shinjyuku, Tokyo, Japan on October 13, 1980 and tracks 7 to 16 came from two shows at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan on August 4 & 5th 1980.[4] The song "Dixie Highway" had not previously been (nor was it subsequently) recorded on any Journey studio album. Closing the album is the lone studio track, "The Party's Over (Hopelessly in Love)," which was released as a single.
In the liner notes, the album is dedicated to AC/DC lead singer Bon Scott, who died in February 1980. Scott is referred to as "a friend from the highway," as AC/DC had supported Journey the previous year on their "If You Want Blood" tour.
This was the last Journey album for keyboard player and founder Gregg Rolie. https://open.spotify.com/album/5qOUGWs3HfrFN9j8BYY76f?si=dkW0__ydSZiOV6MMcSJdSQ
Hi Gufu. I’m a former Catholic myself and have my opinions, but what do you think of the new pope?
Thank you for the ask, but I’m not going to pretend that I know anything vital about the guy at this point. I even didn’t know he existed until this conclave closed. As with any elected official, we will just have to see how he represents the role over 3, 6, and 12 months. Initial thoughts: “woah he is young. I love seeing the traditional vestments.” And “Oh. He is from Chicago.” I have been slowly absorbing more info about his stances and the legacy he is taking up in the name “Leo,” but not enough for any profound opinion yet. Once I formed my substantial opinion, I don’t believe this is the place where I want to share it lol
Biggest reveal of 2025: One of my favorite Raphael bloggers is Catholic. I find that ironic.
Not a very good one 👌 but yeah

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates | McIlroy giving up European Tour membership in 2019
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Rory McIlroy is set to give up European Tour membership in 2019 to focus on the U.S. PGA Tour.
Just for the year, for now.
McIlroy said on Tuesday at the World Tour Championship he intends to play only two full-field European Tour events in the first half of 2019 because of changes in the tournament schedule.
The three-time Race to Dubai champion said he’ll be…

So weit zurück. Dazwischen liegt viel Leid. Tränen. Anschuldigungen. Unverständnis. Betrug.
So viele wenns, vielleichts.
Greatest Hits is a #compilation #album by the #rock #band Journey released on November 15, 1988 by Columbia Records.[1] It is the band’s best-selling career disc, spending 411 weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart[4] (more than any other compilation album, except for Bob Marley’s Legend disc, in history). Additionally, as of late 2014, it has logged nearly 1,000 weeks on Billboard’s Catalog albums chart.
