ik this is random but do you have any book recs? i need to meet my goodreads goal but i am feeling stuck 😭 if the book recs are anything like your writing, they're going to be amazing <33

omg a fellow goodreads warrior... to be honest i do not read a ton of romance books so idk how helpful this will be if you're looking for stuff similar to mine !! i don't have a ton of time to free read in law school but when i do i normally turn to contemporary fiction. i most recently read martyr! by kaveh akbar which i absolutely adored. i also have recently enjoyed intermezzo by sally rooney (and all sally rooney novels!!! can't recommend enough), the idiot and either/or by elif batuman, evenings and weekends by oisin mckenna, happy hour by marlowe granados, and come & get it by kiley reid !! one romance novel i did read and like was just for the summer by abby jimenez. other writers i love include joan didion (all time fav), dolly alderton, otessa moshfegh, and jia tolentino.

i'm a firm believer in "the worst thing they can do is say no". just ask for things! apply to things even if you think you're not qualified! send the email! take the swing! a lot of times people will say yes and then you get cool experiences you wouldn't get otherwise.

🏜️ ⇢ what's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

i love pretty much any comment or engagement i get but it always makes me really happy when people comment on specific lines or details!!! it makes me really happy when i see people enjoying the parts i worked the hardest on

📚 ⇢ what's the last thing you wrote down in your notes app? 

i had a meeting for one of my student groups and was taking notes but got distracted and ended up just writing down "family system reviewing 1l apps." so that's gonna be really helpful for me when i try to remember what happened in the meeting lmaoooo
