Alrighty… 5 things that make me happy:

1) Funny words

Like “thesnowyswan”, “asswaffle”, “canoodle”, “discombulate”, “crapulence”, “Panjandrums“ (which are btw. my favourite kind of people to make fun of), “Smellfungus” (which are my second favourite people to make fun of), etc… Please feel free to send other funny words to me to make me even more happy. Thank you! (See what I did? I pushed the responsibilty for my happiness onto you. Well… of 1/5th of my happiness. Because I am not a total jerk asswaffle)

2) Skyrim

Because FINALLY the Skyrim bug bit me, and I’ve been sneaking through dungeons, killing dragons, and all that… Actually I am even considering - FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE - to play an online game and get “The Elder Scrolls Online”. But I think my computer is too old for that. And also, I still have a sh*tload of open quests. That will take a bit.On the other hand… I have a game controller now… like… THAT IS A HUGE STEP… I am a legitimate gamer now. So… I’m hip. 

3) Slowly making progress with music

It’s the progress that makes me happy. Not the slow. But I don’t really mind the slow. As long as there is progress. I’m ridiculously patient. And I learned to be that even with myself.See… I never learned to play an instrument. And last month I decided that I WILL learn an instrument. And so I got a keyboard. And I am practicing, and I am learning stuff… this is like learning a new language. Fascinating. And… well… see… I taught myself English. I taught myself photography… Why would I not be able to teach myself to play the keyboard? At least to a decent level. I’ll never be Tony Banks. Or Keith Emerson. That I know. But I can be that 12 year old who manages to make his parents nod and smile. And in this case, I am “he” AND “his parents”. And I will nod and smile at myself. And if I did something particularly well, then I will even pat my own head.

If they’re going to throw that shit at you they should at least have the guts to use their name. I get so angry when I read this sort of thing. aw thanks! that’s sweet of you to say :) but honestly it’s OK. I don’t mind it. If anything it amuses me that people take the time to hate on me...and better yet anonymously lol. Trust me, I’m not upset at all!
