Term I coined or something idk
Joypath - someone who finds joy in a character due to the fact they view a friend in that character
In grammatical terms "I am a joypath!"
"I joy this character"
Difference between a kindopath and joypath?? That is if you even know the term kindopath.
A kindopath is someone who feels bad for a character deeply.
A joypath is someone who sees a friend in a character or the opposite (sees a character in a friend)
Also the coiner of the term "kindopath" is my friend by the way, they said they didnt mind if I made a term to seperate one part of it cause they know they worded their own terms wrong and now they prefer the first one to be the defenition. So yea don't mind me I'm just fixing it for them lol.
Yes WE took "path" from the term "synpath" as inspiration.
Yea idk have fun with this term or whatever this was honestly useless i just thought the term was cute alright. It just sounds extremely appealing to use.
Go find whimsy in such term 🤞🥹
