My Surgeon is going on vacay

(I'm sure it was fully funded by my 4 surgeries this calendar year, while my family is stuck at home... But I digress...) Do you know what that means??? Going from: "I'm going to leave than drain in your chest until it quits having output. To a phone call today: Since your drain output is below 10cc each day for the last two days, we need you to come into the office tomorrow so he can remove it. That way you won't have to come in the office next week, because we won't be here anyway." 😱😩

Got my drain out today and I am headed back to work tomorrow. The surgeon says that it is okay, my primary doctors office is not impressed that I am already going back. I need to save my days so I can have a vacation in a couple months. Back to the grind with one less organ.

Lol I'm actually going to have a panic attack when I get these drains removed. Oh. And they're making really fun super sharp pains every now and then so that's always fucking fun. Not like I'm already super anxious about them already.
