TRACK OF THE WEEK
JP Klipsringer is the avatar of Melbourne based Jack Poulson and his latest tune that we have been spellbound since first listen near the tail end of April-titled The Beast with it’s lush shimmering melodies and earnest vocals is our Track of the Week. This elemental and emotional composition is pulled from his debut long player dropping this September. Check the track out above via his Soundcloud. Prepare to be beguiled.
JP Klipspringer: “So Polite” (2015)
JP Klipspringer, Watch The River
Watch The River, the new single from JP Klipspringer, is a lovely piece of pure indie-pop. Moving to Portland, Oregon, JP fell in love with the city and came back to Australia with a new sensibility and this expertly crafted track. Laid-back guitars and husky vocals evoke a sense of nostalgia and Americana - road trips and lazy Sunday afternoons in the sun. Despite a definite nineties indie-rock influence, and the catchy chorus, the track manages to steer clear of the generic, with intelligent lyrics and an underlying wistful note. Watch the River marks the upcoming release of JP’s second EP - keep an eye out for the release and accompanying live performances.

JP Klipspringer with a track called "Phat Controller". Quite mellow and sweet tune, with a very calm and happy vibe.
Ran into JP Klipspringer yesterday, which reminded me how incredible his track Bury Me is. You should 100% listen to it.
