INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT

I have set up a ‘professional’ instagram account, which i have updated over the journey of my collection. I consider this another online portfolio, one I have put on my CV so potential employers are able to see my work-in-action.

BUSINESS CARD EXPERIMENTATION

Cut out section with physical fabric sample. I like this design however I feel the finish isn’t as professional as I’d like. My name here is on acetate; if I were to go ahead with this design I would either digitally print my name or screen print it. Also, I would need to check the colour settings before printing again, as my original design is a much bolder red.

BUSINESS CARD EXPERIMENTATION

I really like this design as I feel it is the most unique. However the text is much too small. I would need to find a way of bonding the fabric to the perspex, as the glue will most likely be visible from the front, giving an un-clean finish.

Also, I could bond two pieces of fabric together so the card has banana print on the back. I like the raw edge as I feel it reflects my style.

BUSINESS CARD EXPERIMENTATION

This is the design that I feel is most suitable. It has a professional finish and clean, clear information. Again, the front text may be a little too small but I’m really happy with the layout and the subtle curved edging. This design is also the most cost effective and least time consuming. I can produce these in large amounts and they can slip easily into potential employer’s pockets/purses etc.
